Bad road to start down.

For example, there are a lot of 25 year olds who have internalized the material much better than some 40 year old recovering betas, freshly unplugged from being whipped for 20 years. If you want someone's age, and it seems relevant, just ask in the thread.

Edit: No, I am not suggesting an inverse correlation...Yes, the high school kids ask lots of dumb questions. What I don't want to happen is people using a number to dismiss or accept some advice before they even use their brain to think about it. It doesn't tell you enough to be a feature.

I think we should make it clear that if the poster is under 18 or over 30 they should probably mention their age in their post for their own benefit.

I agree with this. The amount of time I read some FR or question only to run into something like "and she's the hottest girl at my high school" or whatever.

Sure, AWALT but IMO age is as important a variable as height and general SMV. The game changes with those variables to some extent.

What works in high school doesn't necessarily work in an adult setting and the hurdles and logistics are very different.

TRP exists to help men improve their SMV, and AskTRP exists to offer answers to commonly asked questions, in an effort to assist other men in increasing their SMV. Neither of those efforts are (or should be) age intensive, unless age is relevant to the question (e.g. How old should I be before I start lifting? My LTR is older than me, does that matter? Etc).

What about the length of time subscribed to TRP? If there is any indicator at all, this would be the most practical and useful IMO.

I'm in favor of this for one reason... I say some inflammatory shit. Frequently. And I make large leaps to judgement. By all means, I can stop, and I will with enough downvotes, but I believe certain situations sound like they need that element. And if I mistake a 14 year old concerned about his lunch break kissing buddy, or as he likes to call her, his "friend with benefits" for an adult man, that message I'm trying to deliver may be a small disaster.

And to be frank, I don't even know if I could empathize with a fourteen-year-old with a girlfriend. I was a virgin until I was 20.

Nobody is faulting the OP if they decide to include their age, but forcing people to do it is just bullshit. Redpill is supposed to be a free space for men to be men, not the same controlled "safe-space" shit you see in other subs.
