The game Neil straus - good book?

I found this book before I found trp. I read it in two days just before a date I had set up. I used the basic principles of the book and fucked my date the same night. I'd never done anything like that before. Then I found trp and it solidified everything. I thought it was a good read.

It's the only book I've read multiple times, both because it does have eye opening info - it was my first encounter with game - but it is also very entertaining. It is a story first after all.

Yeah it's a great read, I'd say in the context of this sub it can even be considered "historical reading" since it's one of the first books that came out during the dawn of pickup.

It contains both stories and theory. Especially the first half blazes pretty fast. The second half is more about what happened after all the pickup-craze, but to be honest that is exactly where TRP takes over.

It's a nice introduction to intersexual dynamics. It isn't perfect, but it is easy to read.

Check out The Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi. Much more RedPill, much more technical, but it is the Bible on male/female dynamics at the level of society.

It’s a great read but most of the tactics (Mystery Method, peacocking, etc) are largely out of date, at least in the ways they were doing it.

Still an excellent read and one of the first game or red pill books any guy should read. A manosphere classic if there ever was one.

Think of it as something like Intro to Game 1101, but by no means, the end of your education.

In fact, the deeper you go, and the more you reflect on that one book in particular, the more you'll see it's shortcomings, but it definitely laid the groundwork for much of the headway that followed.

It's definitely in the required reading of the manly library but not exactly life changing. From a Red Pill perspective, the biggest takeaway is pay close attention to Mystery and his slow decline into madness when he starts to let women dictate his life. I consider it a cautionary tale more so than anything.

After having read The Ration Male for some time before starting The Game, I was disappointed. It only touches briefly the concepts of game and Red Pill or anything else. It is a nice story about Neil Strauss, but don't expect to get anything out of it.
