tinder match to date ratio?

I did a little test about a year ago:

— Swiped right on over 20,000 tinder girls over the span of 2 months (lived in NYC)

— Had about 250 matches (I changed photos several times and played with my profile descriptions in an attempt to maximize this to no avail).

— Only about a 3rd of them did I even consider fuckable yet I messaged them all regardlessly (because it's funny to mess with entitled girls)

— most convos went unanswered or fizzled out after 1 or two exchanges; I received some numbers though

— went on 5 dates, yup 5. I didn't even waste my time with the "thick" girls (I take pride in my body, I'm a college athlete, thin and working on the muscles. I'm not 10 but definitely at least a 7 in the "real world")

— fucked one girl.. She was like a 6 with emotional problems. Of course she had great sex (see username), but I went for the pump and dump.

— deleted tinder and blocked all the numbers I obtained.

TLDR: tinder works, just not for me. My thumb hurt eventually. I get a way higher return for time invested by going outside and gaming girls; they hear my voice, see my clothes and subconsciously register my confidence.

If your SMV is low or even mid, it's going to be an uphill battle no matter what. It's a totally different world if you are high value. Hence, it's not worth fighting losing battles. Increase SMV and things take care of themselves. Flakiness is a symptom of low SMV. If you looked like brad pitt and drove a super car, would they flake? No. Improve yo self is the way around this.

Once you get their number then set up the date within 48 hours to reduce flakiness.

In my experience Coffee Meets Bagel is a much better dating service; one match per day and usually get 1-2 dates per week with minimal effort.

This is weird seeing these responses. I'm in the Baltimore/DC area and my calendar is full from Tinder matches. I've got 3 dates this week and have been doing just fine in the last month since I really put my mind to it. I'm matching with 20-30 year olds and I've had 7s on up. All I do is lead with a selfie of me with my shirt off.

My face isn't even shown in the main profile pic! That's proof positive how much physical appeal plays into all this. If you're not fit, or at least fairly muscular, I can see why guys are not having success. You've got to be in the top 10-20% in terms of fitness if you have any hope of doing well with online dating, which I consider Tinder to be. It's almost entirely looks based, so this should be your focus in life if this is what you want to rely on for getting dates.

Most girls use Tinder and other online dating apps just to validate their egos, adding lots of guys that give them attention.

That is why meeting a girl off a dating app is a red flag, you might get some good out of it but...

Flaking is normal. I find that most of them flake when you try to nail down the specifics of the actual date. Learn to get the flaky ones to flake sooner so at least you don't waste time on them.

that's 1/24 I meet. Of course these days 1/5 matches or more is a bot.

I have now had sex with 2 girls from tinder. Neither were super hot; one was a 5 (just made the grade but she couldn't have been more enthusiastic) the other was a 7+. Both of them became friends with benefits. Both were crazy. The 5 was a slut, the 7 a slut-to-be. FWIW I split my time between Boston and New York which have to be two of the most conducive cities to Tinder. When I'm in New York I set up a one mile radius and meet the girls at a bar that we both frequent, either at like 7 on a weekday or past midnight when we're both out and hammered.

I think it depends on location. For me it's a huge waste of time. Deleted the app. Match to date is about 5:1

Long Version of why I think that is I've been on one actual date and it resulted in sex. I've flaked on 5 girls, have had 4 flake on me. 5:1 match to date ratio. Most of the more attractive girls are looking for validation which equals a tingle. I do not believe that just because a girl is talking to you she's interested in you, only the tingles matter. Getting a number doesn't mean anything.

The ones who are actively interested in meeting up are usually fat, mommies, looking to cheat on their guy, or don't want to be the only single girl at their party.

It has something to do with my location, no surprise. 6's think they are 10's here and have a practically unlimited amount of validation and that lets them pick and choose their male orbiters. The 7-9's I know somewhat personally are usually every now and then getting cock on the sly from a beta (effectively keeping him around) who will probably turn into a provider or has family money. If these girls are going to hookup they usually do it on one of their many yearly trips to wherever they go for "girls vaca". The girls usually know the local bar/club owners and are provided with free food, drinks, and endless Tinder/IG/FB pictures of "fun times". An alpha would probably jeopardize the gives-me-thats.

I probably find about 5% of the profiles on Tinder remotely attractive/interesting. 25% match back.

Of that 5% only about 2% I would actively pursue.

That is made up of:

Girls who pass for 10's, also 9's. I know Photoshop and other camera trickery when I see it. They never message back.

8's: Validation, validation, validation. Will talk, will flake.

7's: You probably aren't the only guy they're gonna go out with.

6's: They think they're 10's, and why would I be interested in a 6?

Moms are the wild card-they are either desperate or you don't make enough money to provide for their awesome and wonderful children and must be willing to commit to weekends of bs.
