A very recent study showed that it's down to a few things.

Increased testosterone and sperm quality in men comes about through danger, through competition, for resources etc.

So the only way to properly do it is to reduce safety in life. Studies have shown that soldiers during times of war produce far higher levels of sperm and quality of sperm and higher levels of testosterone.

Within five years after leaving the military their sperm levels and quality had reduced enough that it shows a marked decline.

This ties in with the other studies. Theories abound but in essence the overriding theory is that many years ago sperm quality and testosterone levels were much higher due to short life spans, danger from general living itself and danger from hunting for food, mates, etc.

Because we don't have those dangers now and are living a far more sedentary lifestyle we men aren't producing as high amounts of sperm or testosterone.

You worry about the wrong things. Who cares if John from school has low T. What matter is that YOU and your people close you have high T.

Lift, eat right, sleep, avoid plastics, go outside more, supplement vitamin D/zinc, take cold showers, meditate, don't stress and talk to hot women.

I’m in my early 20’s and when I was 19 I started seeing urologists and thyroid specialists because my testerone always tested 200 or under. Every Urologist in town told me they wouldn’t give me any testerone therapy because I was to young and I should see a thyroid specialist to determine the underlying cause, they could never find a cause and recommended I see a different urologist.

I wasted so much money seeing every doctor in the city and never got any closer to feeling better, I’ve now been taking ED pills for over 5 years, feel tired and depressed all the time, no amount of excercise builds any muscle.

If you have normal T levels don’t take that shit for granted

It is an epidemic flying under the radar, I think it is environmentally caused by both diet and lifestyle. There is also a conspiracy in the medical community both with the levels that are considered normal and reluctance to prescribe treatment for men. I complained for years to my doctor but was told I was in normal range for my age. Luckily today there are options to get tested without your doctor and there are many clinics that specialize in TRT. I pay 195 a month for everything included. It has made a significant improvement in my life. I am older so I am not surprised my levels are going down. I am surprised at all the young guys in the 200s or lower. You won’t properly function at those levels and you won’t know why.

Couple of things in addition to lift, eat clean, avoid pesticides.

Focus on exercising large muscle groups (e.g. thighs) to get the biggest testosterone boost from lifting. Play competitive sports to get that courage/competition rush going.

Use natural products for bathing & grooming (shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant); the skin absorbs a lot of chemicals in grooming products.

Eat meat with animal fat and shellfish. Cholesterol is the building material for testosterone. If you're worried about getting fat, cut out sugar, alcohol (which metabolizes to sugar), and simple carbs (white rice, bread, inside of potato, cereal).

Avoid processed foods, which have tons of preservatives and unneeded compounds. I heard from a friend in the pesticide business that all the products used in the U.S. degrade to harmless within 6-24 hours. Not so with other countries, so take a look at where your produce is from.

Estrogen in the water supply: Some chick did a study that goes, essentially, women take birth control--->women pee in the toilet--->toilet water goes into the rivers--->estrogen stays in the public water supply. Not sure if reverse osmosis takes out estrogen, I suspect not. Try to drink spring water or other mountain source if you can afford it.

If you do all these things together, I guarantee that your T-level will go up, despite your age.

It’s mostly lower now because of all the fake shit, plastics and chemicals in “food”. This is all by design too. Add in general laziness, soy, alcohol, and weed, and it’s no wonder society’s T levels have dropped.

Have your testosterone tested. If low go on testosterone replacement therapy.

I'm not 100% on the "decreasing" thing as that could be just better testing skewing the stats (see the current Covid19 pandemic - statistics is mind-boggling and often throws up counter-intuitive results) but it is clear that low testosterone is something we should be concentrating on WAY more when it comes to depression, low mood, anxiety, panic attacks, low drive, lack of confidence, etc etc in men.

Stuff like anti-depressants can often make things worse, and are normally hell on earth to come off. There's a lot of research by endocrinologists going on that suggests testosterone might be the golden bullet for male mental health issues.

Anyone suffering the symptoms of low testosterone (which often aren't what men imagine them to be) should get their levels checked, ideally several times as they can fluctuate and one test can give a poor overall image.

And the only way to increase test, is to inject test. Anything else you see suggested is either complete nonsense, or only increases test by negligible amounts.
