Seriously though, you are asking a bunch of kids half your age what the purpose of life is. Only you can answer that. Use your life experiences to drive what makes you happy. TRP is a decent guideline to take care of yourself and not let women destroy you. Everything else is up to you.

We have such an objective driven society that people fail to embrace life as the ongoing process that it is . End game of what? How can you properly assess what a consistent end game will be that wont be altered by your changing experiences and knowledge as you grow older?

There really isn't an end game, the goal should be to find what makes you happy , and explore that. What makes you happy will most likely change . There is no End game there is living and embracing your life daily .

At each of Erikson's life stages, we face a different problem. Game / Spinning plates helps folks to solve the problem of intimacy vs isolation.

Many people find different ways to solve this problem. Socially inept people meet each other at sci fi conventions. Jocks meet through sports. It is during the younger ages that we see this flourishing of culture and society because we are looking for love (in all the wrong places).

At 50, life becomes about continuity. Establishing legacy. Planting a tree that will not ripen in your lifetime. You don't have to be part of a clannish clan and be all about the family, or even have a kid at all. You can build legacy in other ways.
