I've read the sidebar. I know the stuff. Here's the thing. I feel good when I'm nice to people. I like helping people. I like situations that are win win. I actually feel good when I do something for a girlfriend although I understand how it comes as her pushing my boundary. THIS IS WHAT I WOULD WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO DO TO ME. Can I help you with something? Yeah. So I will. Not "Well I can't say yes because then he/she'll think I'm a pussy and lose respect for me." I literally want to do shit for people because it feels good, not because I want anything from them. I'm not trying to be a "nice guy" because I think women will sleep with me if I do. I'm being a "nice guy" because it's good for society.

How do you reconcile the fact that the things you want to do harm you. I actively don't like being a dick, I hate doing anything that could hurt someone's feelings. I get that it works. I just don't like doing it.

All stuff should be so that everyone is happy and nice, not like oh, I gotta be a tough guy so I seem alpha. What the fuck.

I don't want to overcompensate. What am I missing?
