Looks DO matter. A lot.

That's why it's pushed to max out what you can. Get muscled, get lean, get a nice hairstyle, wear fitted clothes, get your shitty teeth fixed, shower and shave occasionally. Nice shoes. Style.

These things can counter the effects of "bad looks" to an extent, e.g. losing bodyfat allows a sharper more masculine jawline.

But obviously not everybody can be a 10.

But if you're now a 4 and you do some work, you can be a 7 on a good day.

Would you rather fuck a 4 or a 7? So would she.

Looks get them to open the door, game gets them to buy the subscription. So you need an attitude to complement your newly maxed looks. Otherwise you're showing up in a pretty lambo but there's nothing but a vw beetle motor under the bodywork. You're a replica. A kit car. Women can smell if you're not the real thing - it's the basis of shit testing - to see whats under your hood.

Wealth does not increase SMV except in the secondary way of being able to afford nicer things and therefore look better.

The only girls that care about your wealth are golddiggers and whores. Or women who've hit the wall and their mating strategy has gone from alpha fucks to beta bucks, so they're looking at RMV, not SMV. Not desirable subsets.

That's why complaining about being ugly in here is pissed on.... It's a passive poor me defeatist beta boy move to complain that you can't change something you CAN change. All it takes is work.

Everyone agrees looks matter. What we don't agree with is people that aren't looking good throwing the towel because they'll never look good. OK, you were dealt à bad hand. But improve on what you can improve, and you'll be better off than if you surrender. There are plenty of ugly dudes that are banging hot girls. Maybe they have money. Maybe they have game. Maybe they have confidence. Any of these three you can work on.

looks obviously do affect SMV, and if you're below a certain threshold, you won't be able to overcome it with game, status, etc.

BUT that threshold is extremely low. most of us either are ugly af and slay tons of puss or know guys who are ugly af and slay tons of poon.

Beauty is the "EZ Pass" of life. It is especially important for women (along with youth) but it is advantageous for men as well. For bluepills, who don't believe in Game and think that you should "just b yourself", it is a measure of "who you should be dating" which is why they get so angry about people who date asymmetric to their SMV, because that's "not right" and tugs at the back of their consciousness that not all may be as it appears.

For RP Men, it is important to become the best version of themselves, to be fit and healthy, etc. But RP men also understand that there is a role for Game, which can be learned, and isn't as bound by a "ceiling" as SMV is. Money, properly deployed, can also play a role, but like any tool, it is limited by the skill of the craftsman who uses it. Bloopers also hate that, so they talk about "gold diggers" and "dirty old men", etc. For RP Men, there is SMV, Money and Game, but the Greatest of These is Game.

Im kinda the odd one out. Ive built up my looks to the max. (6/10) Gained 52 pounds and easily fill out many larges in the chest and can tear my old pants by squatting. When people say looks matter they are assuming alot. If you are a loser with 0 personality, people will instantly pick up on it and forget you. Yes, you can get a girl pretty much ask you out but if you are an autist fuck she wont have anything to do with you again. Looks don’t matter if you are looking at things completely objectivelyI assume If I was 10/10 I would only get a few more opportunities to fail. However, the truth is, a 10/10 wont grow up to be an aspie.

Looks matter, but how you look to yourself is what drives confidence, and confidence matters more than anything.

Look at someone like Nick Vujicic. He's got a hot wife and doesn't even have arms or legs.

Looks matter: but physique matter way more than your face. An ugly face means very little, same with baldness, so long as you aren't totally hideous or deformed, you can overcome a lot of it.

Being a twig, or being short, not being able to stand straight, has way more impact than your face.

looks(muscels), status(game/frame), resources(money/iq). looks is easiest to get.
