Approaching in the first place is validating. Complementing her at least registers your interested. Better than asking which way is the library

I find that if I don't throw a girl a quarter, with something witty to valibate her in the initial approach, they often will not let you close the deal.

My latest one was, "you make glasses look really good", to this librarian dominatrix looking chick, I approached in the gym. She was glazed over until I threw that one out. Then she came to life.

Doesn't have to be anything overly complex (less is more), but I think it should be unique to the person/situation in a way and definitely part of the initial approach package

I think this goes along more with being honest about your intentions and showing that you are attracted to her in an open manner. If an orbiter randomly showers compliments on her she just brushes it off. by the mere act of approaching you are showing that you are not an orbiter but you were going directly to the center of the matter. So your compliment will have a qualitative difference.

If you go a little deeper I think the concept of not complimenting them is actually more along the lines of not pedestalising them.

when you approach you are coming with and energy of coming from your place and taking a minute out and going up to them. An orbiter is just going around showering them with compliments.

Honestly I think this would have to dig a little deeper into red pill theory.

Todd V on YT talks about "premise". Which a lot of ppl seem to lack when they do cold approach. So a usual guy will go up to a girl, shoot the shit for like 5/10 mins, and then try and close and get rejected.
So when you give a compliment/validation, you're giving a premise that you're leading this interaction to sex from the get go. While so may say it's "needy" it actually helps a lot if the girl is below, say, a 9.
Prolly too what you're subconsciously doing is giving disqualifiers/teases to balance it out. Or she perceives your SMV so much higher than yours that you giving validation just gives her something to chase vs giving away your power.
Everyone has a different point where their line is.

It's about attitude. If you're non needy, non thirsty, she can read it.

It's about sub-communication. Do you come off like a thirsty dude who has never spoken to an attractive girl.

I guess it depends what exactly you’re saying.. if you compliment them by saying they look nice or you like their outfit it’s flirtatious and to the point. If you tell them they are the most gorgeous girl on earth it comes off as PUA and beta.

Again the way an alpha thinks is like this... I like how that girl looks and I’ll tell her that because that’s what i want to say.. not because that’s what I think she wants to hear. It brings a different energy imo

I'm finding the opposite. I give out a compliment and the girl is interested initially, but if I don't keep giving compliments she loses interest.
