What up, douchebags?

Here are five things you can do to improve your speech in any context, from job interviews to opening sets:

  1. Speak slowly.
  2. Eliminate filler words from your speech.
  3. Stop trying to be clever and snarky, and become smart, well-informed, and well-read instead.
  4. There’s a difference between putting your best foot forward, and “trying to impress people” in a social setting. Learn it.
  5. Talk to a lot more people, in person.

Obviously, this is a TL;DR for the guys out there who want to feel like they've improved themselves, but don't want to actually do anything or get results.

For those of you who want to put in some work, I explain each point in depth on Table Theory.

Peace!
