I like this girl in my class and we’ve have gone on a few dates already and we’re hitting it of, but she is always with this other guy in class (her guyfriend), and he’s getting on my nerves.

Yesterday this girl and me went to grab food in our break and when we came back her guyfriend acted all jealous, saying to her that she replaced him for me. I sayd nothing and just ignored it.

And today, she spends all day with him in class, we made eye contact a few times, but i acted like i didn’t care and just had fun with my friends.

School was almost done and she made eye contact with me and asked me about something, i replied and went back to my friends. Later i walked passed her and poked her in a playful way, she looked at me and acted all mad(also in a playful way) I started a conversation with her, and flirted a little. Meanwhile her guyfriend was sitting next to her saying nothing.

Later she came to me and lays her head on my shoulder and i put my arm around her, we were just talking and joking about stuff.

She walked with me and my friends to the bus, her guyfriend asked for her to wait on him but she said she needed to catch the bus(which was a lie bc she said to me we didn’t needed to hurry) we walked for a few minutes and it was mostly me talking with her. Then she stoped bc her guyfriend was behind us and she waved to him. My friends keep walking but she stopped and waited for him.

I decided to go with my friends leaving her behind with her guyfriend.

Did I the right thing or should i have waited for her and her guyfriend? Also if anyone has some sort of advice for me what to to in this situation please tell, its like this everyday, almost a competition between him and me.

I know its not a competition, i give myself higher value then the other guy, and the girl told me she doesn’t want anything with him, just friends.
