In what kind of scenario you do this? Go to a bar alone just like how they do it in shows and movies?

I agree, but it shouldn't be made into such a big thing. Approaching women should be like charging your phone, getting on a bus, going to the gym.....no big deal, its just something you do. I know its not the same for all and it's easier said then done.

You have a point. What I find interesting though is that I feel like this would work in the reverse direction better though, unfortunately.

For example, last week I was out taking pictures around the park. A woman with her baby approached me and ask about what I was doing and if I liked photography. I was not interested in asking her out or anything as she's older and I'm 24 with no children.

A year ago I was in a major city on a bus and a girl asked if I wanted to sit next to her because I was in someone's assigned seat. I handled the rest of the next 6 hours with her in a strange/awkward way, because she knew I was interested in her. I was later ghosted.

Today I'm back home with my parents looking for a job. Every other day or so I'll go out and walk around the park to get exercise, almost hoping someone will come up to me. I feel like I have no business talking to random women because I don't want to be labeled as a harasser or throw people off of what they were doing.

I have to respectfully disagree that approaching women is incredible. Honestly there’s nothing out of the ordinary about it. A lion doesn’t think hunting is incredible. You surely don’t think approaching a cashier is incredible.

Approaching women, or anyone for that matter, is and should be normal. Attributing it too much meaning or emotion seems artificial and will likely lead to more failed approaches than successful ones.

So I honestly don't have social anxiety, etc but I don't know what are you supposed to say exactly yo qualify it as an "approach".

A lot of people call it an "approach" but I've never see the definitive definition of what it actually is or what it entails?
