I thought it was pretty good, and taking off his glasses until halway through was a good move. Yeah obviously alot of canned material went into it, but still pretty smooth if you ask me.

As a newbie, this is awesome! I assume he is new too (doing better than me lol), because I can sense nervousness in his voice. But if he is new to this, this still counts as a major win, step forward. Good for him!

EDIT: I can also tell that after a minute or so, his nervousness is almost gone. I'd give him a high5 if I met him!

No offense, but his routine sounded really scripted. He stuttered a few times and had a weird tone/flow that made me believe it was rehearsed several times. I'd also suggest you have your pupil visit /r/malefashionadvice
