This isn't to bash anyone; I genuinely want to know what's going on in the rest of the world. I know the end result is to inspire confidence and help each other be successful with women, but with which women? If we're all getting laid by average or only slightly above average women then I don't consider that successful. If you're an average looking guy laying average looking women, then good for you. I just don't see how that would be that challenging.

I consider myself a very good looking, high status male. I don't go home with anything other than a HB9/10, rarely an HB8/7 depending on the interaction.

I was chatting with a male friend of mine (also good looking, HSM) and we started rating women. Turns out we were a full 1 - 2 points off from each other. What he saw as a 7, I saw as a 5 or 6.

I use a universal scale from 1 - 10 representing the ugliest and hottest women on the entire planet. My friend judges women based on the availability locally. Maybe that's acceptable/normal? I don't think so.

To me: nothing short of a super model is an HB10 to me. HB10 means perfect, ideal. HB9 is pretty damn close. A 5 literally means AVERAGE, i.e., 75% of the women you see on a daily basis. A 6 or 7 is only above average. At 8 I start calling you HOT.

Does anyone else feel this way? How are you rating your women?

TL;DR: I think we're all using different scales to rate attractiveness. How are you rating women? Stop fucking average looking women and submitting FRs about it.

EDIT: Yes, we have individual preferences but I believe most men generally agree on what's hot and what's not. Here's why I think this matters: how truly attractive a girl sees herself will be party; based on how men see and treat her. We're in a community that strives on the art and science of seduction. It involves very detailed techniques. I think there are probably way too many PUAs out there who are undershooting their targets and overshooting their game. It doesn't take a lot of game to pick up the average looking woman or to go hogging. I walk into a bar and I have half a dozen nothings hanging on me without lifting a finger. If I run game on these women not only am I (probably) doing it for nothing but I've left out the better options. If I continue to do that I'm not actually improving my game. If I post a FR about picking up Susie Haagen-Dazs but report she was an HB8 when she would probably be less than an 6 to most other men then I'm also misleading the community about how well these techniques are "working".
