I'm a 21 year old brown guy in college. I was born and grew up here and have been 'part of the culture' but I do feel like I get treated differently and I'm still seen as 'not part of them'.

I take care of myself, I'm in great shape and I'd say I'm above average looking, although apparently my race significantly lowers my attractiveness. Someone even jokingly said that I'm a good looking guy, but I have to minus points because of an 'ethnic tax' since brown guys are the least desirable.

Women have literally told me that they would date me if I was a white guy and that they don't date brown guys. I know there have been studies on racial dynamics within dating and it's clear that white men are the most desirable, but no other minority is dismissed in the same way brown guys are. It's totally fine to date other minorities but brown guys are seen as socially unacceptable.

I've seen this so many times where so many women including the ones I know would go for all sorts of guys but I'd commonly hear things like "lol he's brown", "ugh he's Indian" etc. Ironically, this seems to come from brown/asian/Indian women the most, many of whom exclusively go for white men. The brown women I've asked out have straight up told me they don't date brown men. White and black women have been far more receptive to me than brown women.

Even on dating apps there have been so many instances where women were into me but then unmatched once they found out my ethnicity.

I've been hearing things like that since I was around 16 when no one wanted to go to prom with me since I was brown, and many similar comments were made about how they didn't want to be with a brown guy.

I felt like there was something wrong with me and started getting into self-improvement to 'fix' myself. I started going to the gym to look better and have developed a great physique.

I have a great social life and all the girls I know say the same usual stuff about how I'm "a great guy and I'll find someone" but I know they are just being nice since they've literally seen me get rejected where other girls have said they don't want brown guys.

There was brief period when I was reading blackpill content and how certain genetic traits have a strong influence on how you're treated. I became extremely depressed during this time because the stuff I was reading linked with my personal experiences. There was a brief moment when I considered hanging myself and I honestly never want to feel like that again since it's so horrible.

I'm not here to complain about women's preferences because they are entitled to choose who they want. Obviously I understand that lol.

I just want to know whether I'm genuinely seen as an inferior dating option simply because of my race, because my experiences definitely make me feel that way.

Tldr: women have automatically rejected me because of my race and have often directly told me they would date me if I wasn't brown. As a brown guy am I genuinely inferior because of my race?
