Well, I've been dealing with this myself recently. Currently, more accurately.

She talks a lot about her past, her ex, repeats things, and recaps recent events repeatedly.

You should give more concrete examples cuz it's kinda hard to figure out intentions without context

But I've come to my conclusions from my experiences that either - they want to manipulate you into a certain emotion, or are attempting to provoke a reaction from you if some sort

Or they may just be the type of person that processes things this way, she may be on the spectrum (not kidding) or otherwise socially awkward

You know, girls weren't born perfect socialites.

Id call her out on it. When the girl I know kept talking about her ex every day and I got tired of hearing about it, I basically told her 'i don't want to hear about your ex anymore because I don't believe that living in the past is so bad, you won't move on if you keep reliving it's (they'd broken up recently)

It worked and didn't run the game. But I didn't care what happened, and I didn't do it out of anger or control but sincerely to better her. Too many details to go into but just believe that

It all depends on your relationship with her though...

What they mean depends on what she said . I tried writhing out guesses - Turns out there are at least 17 variations with different meanings (and I might have missed some )
