Blushing... good or bad?

Personal experience tells me that if she blushes and still has a genuine smile, it's probably a good thing. Especially if you're a good looking guy. However, it could have thrown her off a bit and made her a bit uncomfortable, making her blush, but that's not the vibe I'm getting here.

I had this exact same situation a few weeks back, which sent me into a bit of a research frenzy about the blush. Darwin called it "the most peculiar and most human of all expressions." He theorized that it existed for the purpose of revealing man's innermost feelings involuntarily. Furthermore, he considered it to appear at heightened moments of self-attention and self-awareness.

Personally, I think Darwin was more or less correct in his assessment of the blush, but didn't apply it far enough. I think the blush is an involuntary reaction when someone gets past the social shields that we all put up. Sometimes this is embarrassment, yes, but more often than not it is an indication that the girl, in this case, has let you past her psychological shields - you moved quite well towards developing a rapport with her, and you got past her shield of keeping people out. In this case, she welcomed you in, and the blush is just the reaction to her involuntary awareness of it.

In layman's terms, its good. This girl is at very least willing to build an emotional connection to you. Advance, as always, with confidence and awareness, my good man!

It's part of the flight or fight mechanism. She could have been discomforted or she could have been flattered. A simple blush isn't telling enough. Either way, you worked up a strong reaction in her. I call that a win.

It doesn't matter. Honestly.

Sure, it could be an IOI. But thinking about IOI's while you are in set gets you calculating. This mode of conciousness isn't useful for seduction. And because you don't know the girl that well, you can't really tell what it means.

The best way is to focus on what you want. Instead of trying to guess where she is at, just put your intent you there.
