I've posted here before about my problems with getting laid but I thought I'd try tackling my psychological mindset that I and others put me in with some examples.

For instance, I do boxing for fitness. When I mention this in conversation, workmates/friends will say "oh, I didn't think of you as a boxing type". When I press them as to why (because admittedly I am pretty nerdy looking), they inevitably say " oh, but you're such a nice guy". Leaving aside the fact that that statement makes no fucking sense (Muhammad Ali, George Foreman and Holly Holm are all seemingly good people, whereas people like Mike Tyson are douchebags) how do you deal with people putting you in the "nice guy" basket from the outset? Even though I consciously know that no one owes me anything (let alone sex) it feels that people can sniff out my inexperience and immediately put me in the nice guy basket, even where I break the mould. What can I do?
