I just finished listening to a podcast by Dr. Glover and the topic was Girlfriend with a Penis.

I've known for a long time that I've been Forever Friend-Zoned but it wasn't something I would admit often. I always held on to hope.

The podcast discussed how important it is to start off on the right foot and I broke just about every single 'do not do' in the podcast during this 'relationship' with her.

The reality is, I give her something she wants (friendship, a shoulder to cry on, someone to solve her problems) and I get nothing in return. I would not put this much effort into maintaining a friendship with a male friend, cousin, unavailable or undesired woman, etc. I realize I have been putting this much effort in because she has boobs and a vagina and I am attracted to her.

Well, it's now time for this to stop. I never told her about my feelings, and 9 months ago she started dating someone so I told myself (for 9 months) it would be best NOT to discuss my feelings. I put her needs before mine.

I don't want to tell her how I felt in the past now because over the last few weeks I have started to let go and after having listened to this podcast (that seems as if it was recorded for me!), there is no point. I will forever be a 'girlfriend with a penis' to her.

This is awesome, it is a huge breakthrough for me.

I use Google Voice, and just before writing this I configured her phone number to go directly to voicemail.

I think the best part of the cast was when he talked about how there is a direct inverse relationship to how much a man spends listening to a woman talk about problems and how much sex is in a relationship. This rings true with me and if it truly is a reality, it explains everything.

If anyone would like the link to the podcast please let me know and I will reply with the URL. It's off his site. Thanks.
