Call or text? Which is better?

I would text, especially since most people aren't going to get a number and then immediately reach out to the woman in question. Gotta remember she might not remember the name attached to the number, so texting works better after a cold approach IMO. "Hey this is x from x. I find I'm at my best 2 beers deep around 8pm at x. Will I see you there?" That was my typical way of interacting post-cold's and I found it worked way better than behaving as if she'd remember everything about me from the 1 interaction.

Mmm idk, I send texts or audio messages just because I don’t want to put people on the spot with a phone call and many people in this newer generation don’t like phone calls anyway

Isn't everyone scared of phone calls? I tried to get a guy to call me and he needed 2 days to get the courage to do it, and he was 30 with kids mind you.

Another way to think about it could be thinking about what you want. With people’s hesitancy to phone, it’s possible you could put her off, but if you like talking on the phone and you want to be with a woman that likes talking on the phone or it makes her feel even more pursued in a good way, then make the call. Worst case you put her off and it’s one random number you had gotten or it works and later in life you both reflect with each other how you knew it was meant to be the moment you called her and stirred her up a bit.

Definitely text. Calling someone is intrusive in today's day and age. If you do want to call, ask first via text.

I like to call. I’m not sure it matters. I think it’s more likely they reply if you text. I think chicks can get nervous on the phone. But not totally sure.

I do enjoy talking to the girl and hearing her voice, and i think it’s good practice.

Edit: I actually mostly text these days
