Can we do something about all the low-effort youtube videos being spammed?

Can we have a rule that all video posts be accompanied by a short text summary? Even if it's just 3 lines long. And I'm talking about a summary not a clickbait introduction to the video.

So a video titled "My top three pickup lines" would list the 3 pickup lines in the summary and, if I thought they sounded interesting, I would be motivated to hear the guy talk about how to use them and why they work.

Longer videos = more ad revenue. Shitty videos = people come back after failing = more ad revenue. All you can do is dislike and report if they break a rule.

Couple points here:

You may not realize what's going on behind the scenes here; a LOT of posts are constantly spamming Seddit. There are filters to catch a lot of stuff before you guys even have the chance to see it.
If something is inappropriate, flag it. If there's no merit to it at all, it's spammy, etc., then it will be taken down.
"Easily summed up in a minute or two." This is worth having a conversation about. This means that you think they take too long to explain something, right? Considering how many hard cases there are out there, many of whom need multiple explanations, who's going to judge how much explanation is too much? Someone who doesn't need an explanation at all? Can you see the problem there?
To the extent that people drop a link to promote or spam a product, without contributing something viable, yes their posts will be removed, especially if they're flagged.

Can we also have a rule about new content and not just a re-hash of the same old shit but with their new "personalised and revolutionary view" on something?

But really, not just these shitty youtube videos, also the shitty links and blogs that every person and their dog are writing.
