Fuck what she thinks or eve what other guys think, you know where your going in life so it shouldn’t matter that much what your current job is. Should you try and upgrade? Of course, but you are who you are at this moment you have to do the best with what you’ve got . Let your game speak for itself. If you have good game the girls not gonna be wondering what your job is, she’s gonna b wondering how to fuck you. Also get money to better your own life not to impress some girl, that’s how you attract gold diggers. But obviously money helps in terms of logistics, freedom, but like i said it will take time. Just work with what you already have.

I'm a decently well-read and well-traveled person, but never graduated from college and am currently working three days a week delivering pizza—because this affords me the most time to work on creative/entrepreneurial/fun projects.

Why didn't you graduate from college?

Do you ever plan to? If not, why not?

(Honestly just curious, but these are the things that women you might date will be curious to know just to get to know you, so you have to start finding a way to get okay with your own choices and sharing those choices you've made and why.)

I feel when I talk with women, it's when they get to the "what do you do?" part and I respond that I deliver pizza that I feel like things turn south.

Part of it is likely due to how YOU feel about delivering pizza and feeling that it defines you. It could partly be because you assume people will define you by this and not by whatever your grand plan is. You explained that you have those entrepreneurial projects you spend a fair amount of time on.

So why the fuck would you sell yourself short with the simple answer that you "deliver pizza?"

You're either unintentionally whitewashing your larger plans by not mentioning them, or by being so down on yourself after you mention pizza delivery, that no one takes those plans seriously because you don't seem to.

This is not about your career. This is about how you are dealing with your career and about you having a temporary crisis of faith in your plan when you have to talk about it out loud.

You say you spend the most time on those projects, but you list those last and give top billing to the part-time pizza gig. You're fucking yourself, I guess because you assume anyone would frame it that way anyway so you beat them to the punch and lead with the thing you think they'll focus on. No. Cut it out.

Let's tweak it a little. What if you actually say the truth, instead of this distorted version you've crafted out of fear? The real answer is something like:

"I spend most of my time working on XYZ creative/entrepreneurial/fun projects, and moonlight part time as a pizza delivery guy to make ends meet (until I get things off the ground) and see the city."

If what I have just stated above in bold isn't the truth, then you need to stop lying to yourself about the projects and actually move on a real plan, like doing whatever it takes to get back to school and finishing that as a step towards something else.

Because at the end of the day, you need something better in life than a dead-end job and plans you don't believe in.

But if those projects are valid and you believe in them, then you fucking lead with those when people ask what you do. You don't lead with the little side thing that pays the bills. You lead with what you actually fucking do. :)

I'll just put it out there that I had the most success with women when I was unemployed. If girls just wanna have fun with you, they won't care what your job is.
