Clubs, wtf?

Dance clubs are an environment for women to establish a rather base sexual value and validation at the efforts of men [noticeable in cover charge policy]. It's purely eye/ body contact and impression management via grooming, garments and dancing proficiency.

I would, as soon as you enter, NOTICE THE BAR, notice the quite spots - or connection extractions where you will take a girl after establishing enough attraction - and then look for the girls that are wanting to meet people. AVOID all women looking for drinks or simple validation. This can be noticeable in their presentation and who they're with/ what they're doing.

whenever I go to a club, I immediately notice the first two things (bar and quite spot), approach a group of girls sitting in the quieter area looking bored or tired of dancing and initiate an interest with one of them. Then bounce to the dance floor with some light touching and a focus on having fun with her, then whisper (or yell as in most cases), "lets get a drink" (another bounce in the same venue to the bar), then offer to go to the quite connection area to talk.

Clubs are a bad place to meet women unless you're comfortable with drunk girls. I personally want to establish a connection with someone and avoid drunk women at all costs. Ergo, it behooves me to spend my money and time elsewhere, and might be better for you to do so as well. Go to have fun, not look for women. And as for the grinding and making out stuff, it's nice, but its no indication that she will want sex with you if it's her behavioral norm. In other words, if she does it often, there is no novelty to such actions and thus no rise in 'buying temp'. Frankly, who wants to fuck the girl everyone grinds on and fucks anyway. After doing this for 12 years or so, and having many people bestow trust in me by telling me their secrets, I have come to the conclusion that it's safe to assume 1/4 to half the room is infected with something. So pick your battles wisely.

Clubs aren't for talking, other than "lets go somewhere else". That's not how they work. Clubs are purely physical. Eye contact -> smile -> walk over -> start dancing -> grinding -> making out. That's pretty much the progression and the outcomes you're going to get.

Now, I'm not a fan of clubs because in my opinion, many of the girls there are simply seeking validation. How can you figure out if you like a guy when you can't even talk to him? I find most girls just love having guys dance with them, grind with them, and eventually move on to the next one and leave with their girlfriends. Some girls will want to hook up after. Some may want to meet up in the future. But validation's usually the norm from what i've seen.

Keep all this in mind when you go to clubs. It's not the bar scene. It's not talking and charming a girl with your words. It's purely physical, and likely only for her validation.

I too am struggling with club game but after going out quite a bit and following up on other sedditors' advice, here's a few tips (in no particular order):

Go out to have fun, not to necessarily pick up women (something about being outcome independent? not sure if its the right term).
It's very difficult in verbally approaching sets on the dance floor but not impossible. As everyone else has already suggested, it's all about eye contact, body language, grooming etc.
Approach sets in the bar area or quieter areas (even the smoke area works) - these places are much easier to have a conversation.
Women react positively when you have high energy on the dance floor. I personally was skeptical of this suggestion until this past Friday, my buddies and I started dancing with this random guy who had an intense amount of energy. He was dancing to the music, randomly barging into girls' circles, and just not giving a fuck. We started dancing with him and girls started to join us. In other words, if you're having an insane amount of fun, girls will move closer to you as opposed to if you're just chilling by yourself alone and just checking your phone, they'll move away and generally ignore you.
Have a base or headquarters in the club. This spot in the club is where you and your buddies will meet up if and when you guys get separated. A secondary purpose of this, I guess, is you don't look an afc wandering around the entire club, looking for your friends.
When you do dance with a girl, kino escalate as much as you can. There is almost no limit seriously! Take their hand and spin them (never heard a complaint about this). If you want to take a break, either tell her or grab her hand and lightly lead her to a quieter space. You can tell her by placing your finger in one of her ears and talking to the other (not my idea but apparently it works). If you've developed enough rapport and connection, she won't mind the finger in the ear (or some other variation).
Needless to say, as a general rule, don't buy drinks for girls. Ideally, only AFCs buy random girls drinks to win them over. It could still work in your favor if you buy them drinks but I would recommend against it. If they call you out on this, you can even say "I don't need to get girls drunk to bring them home" as a DHV.
Become friends with everyone. Whether it's the bouncers, bartenders, or other people in the club, it doesn't hurt making new friends especially when these new friends will introduce you to their group of friends. By making friends with bartenders and bouncers, this could serve as social proof as well.
Dress to impress Pretty straightforward. Wear cologne, watch and basically anything you think will impress your target. In the club, it's all about visual appearances. I believe Mystery said that as long as you wear one interesting of clothing, the clothing will serve as a conversation starter. I'm in University right now so I go to all the clubs nearby. It's not uncommon for club goers to wear hats. I've started to wear a hat when I go to clubs because it serves as a conversation starter and it's a very clear IOI when my target grabs my hat and wears it.
If you don't think you've developed enough connection/rapport, stop dancing with her, go to a quieter space, and talk to her more. I've made that mistake before when I was making out and kino escalating one girl on the dancefloor. She ended up bailing on me because she barely even knew me (lack of connection). At the same time, if you feel that there's enough connection built and she's feeling it, you don't need to wait till the end of the night to bring her back to your place (or wherever).

Clubs to me are very superficial. All the guys act super aggressive, and all the girls tend to have some strange game plan going on.

I'm speaking generally of course. But in my experience you have the best conversations in the smoking area. I only smoke on nights out for this reason.

Its all perception, looks, and body language at clubs. Its a manufactured environment in the sense that 'club game' doesn't transfer to the 'real world'. Do not be too upset if you don't get a good handle at it. Just bring girls you already know to clubs in order to escalate and build rapport.

Social Proof and Non-verbal openers to transition into dancing .. then isolation to some part that is more quiet.
