I go to Brazil a lot so maybe I can chime in.

Yeah there's a huge difference depending on the culture. Brazil has a VERY open hookup culture. It's considered the 'norm', so girls tend to be a little bit more outgoing. I'm currently living in the U.S., so there's a drastic difference. The girls here tend to be a little bit more 'dry' and carry with themselves a feeling of self-entitlement. (Which there's nothing wrong with a girl being confident, but when she thinks she deserves the world...then it makes it hard to give it to her.)

I once picked up girls in France, it's mainly the same tactics as the US except they get more interested because an American is fluent in their language (which is not common)

Hey NotThatDroid,

I've traveled most of the world and it's the same everywhere. Don't create mental barriers that stop you from trying. Go out and find out for yourself. Attraction is universal. And the variations that you'll notice around the world when it comes to meeting women really aren't that significant.

I've been to Amsterdam, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that it's the same in Amsterdam as it is in the US.
