If I go out with friends, I am always too distracted by them to be able to focus on the task at hand. To boot, my friends tend to be the types who will focus on themselves rather than on the scene happening at the bar (or whatever), so it becomes hard to use them as leverage to meet people. Because of this I tend to go out with a single wing man (intent discussed prior to going out) or solo. I always do best solo. Maybe this is an obvious thing?

Anybody else experience this?
