Everyone is telling you "good job" but actually from my point of view there are two little mistakes:

- you had a chance to talk to her when you parked the car and you preferred to let her go. The second time you met her in the same area was pure luck.

- you asked for a phone number in front of someone (it depends upon the type of the girl, many of them will not give you their number just because someone else is near to her, it is better to be discreet because you never know how the girl will react if she is not alone).

You were lucky this time, but it is a good start.

Once you start getting desensitized to approaching, you can start to do some truly audacious shit you never thought you would. For example, I was at a coffee shop the other day and approached the girl sitting next to me who was friendly but not into me, then waited 30 minutes and approached the girl sitting on the other side of me who’d been eyeballing me all night. Didn’t get either number, but just the balls to cold approach a girl in front of another girl I cold approached made it worthwhile.
