It's hard to say what she is going through but maybe she expected you to contact her sooner. If you say she was eager to hand over the number then she should of responded.

Not enough investment perhaps, you could have gave her a call and talked a little before asking her out on a date. A lot of girls want to know that you're not a serial killer (we know that you aren't) before they meet you for a date.

You know I recently met a couple girls that were bad at responding. Turns out they are just entitled think they are owed the world. A lot of these pretty girls are narcissists on dating apps. It's easy to get male attention and they hunt for the most they can get out of it. What does a decent dress and some makeup cost? Less than $100 and they think men that make <100k/yr are losers. Just focus on all their faults it will help you get over them.
