Long term this is a good problem to have bc when you get older you’ll look great for your age. But I was like you I always lookex a lot younger than people thought. When I was 19 I hit the gym hard. Put on 20 lbs in a semester and went from skinny to muscular. Took me from looking like I was a young high schooler to being sought after college bachelor.

It'll happen. You'll look older with time. Don't rush it.

As well as clothing?

Do you have a trusted friend or two you can go shopping with? A girlfriend?

If not, there's nothing wrong with going to a used clothing chain like Buffalo Exchange and asking employees there for opinions on how things look on you.

And if you're really lost, you can ask someone there whose style you like, for suggestions. They're happy to help.

Was gonna give you advice but then read in the comments that you’re a woman. I know you have this desire to look mature and be taken seriously but in reality you are way better off looking young as a woman. Have you ever heard of neoteny? Men are biologically driven to be attracted to women with youthful features. Facial definition on women is very unappealing to us. If you want to look like an adult just dress mature and wear makeup. Other than that just learn to use your youthful appearance as an advantage and let go of this idea of your life changing if only you could look older.

Wear more mature clothes or lose fat. Your body signature looks younger if you wear what younger kids wear. You face looks younger when you have a lot of face fat.

Hit the gym, buy clothes that show off your figure. Find make up contouring tutorials on YouTube to make yourself look older. Avoid going overboard cos to you don't want to de-age yourself by 10 years when you take your make up off and the dude freaks out lol

What haircut and style do you have? Does it fit your face or shape your head? What accessories or jewelry do you wear, if any? What kind of clothes and shoes are you wearing? Whats your style? Makeup? How is your posture? There are a lot of subtle small changes that can help.

People are just quite bad at guessing ages ! At 27 people thought i was at high school. Now in my thirties and still people think i am in my 20s and get shocked to hear my age.

Embrace the looks, dont let it affect you, time will do its job, wrinkles and grey hair will come and you shall embrace them equally

If anything, a baby face is one of the staples of beauty, and many are paying money to get to look younger or using make up to get there !

multiple studies point to baby face features being the standards of beauty, and a lot of celebrities have it or so surgeries to get it , making them looking very young.

If someone is attracted to you genuinely, a bit of make up or muscle won't be the deciding factor,

You decide what's good for you, dress and make-up as you wish, go to gym for yourself and help, and not so some dudes will be convinced that you look 22 instead of 16

Muscle makes the biggest difference. You might end up still baby faced but there's undeniably something manly and older about having muscle. Eat a fuck ton of mixed nuts and fruit and hit the gym.
