Idk. A lot of girls idea of advances is making eye contact for one thousandth of a microsecond longer than normal. Could be that he has no idea, I have no way of knowing since I wasn’t there

At this age I was numb to girls at work. She would have to invite me with her to go shopping for langerie and show me what she tries on.
Then I would think, "oh, she's not just being nice cause I work with her."

He looks like his oblivious about it. Be blunt with him and im sure he'll reciprocate

Maybe he’s lurking somewhere on this subreddit wondering… “19F asked me out for ice cream, we’ve hung out once. But I’m not sure if this means she’s interested. What do?”

my man does not want a write up from HR

Tell him you want to lick his ice cream cone

Confidence is #1. Always assume that he likes you even when he is ignoring you, flirting with other women, not giving you attention.
Don’t be too forward. There is no need to tell him that he is cute or that you like him, that might make him feel that your desperate and below his league. Instead give him attention, look him deep in the eyes, touch him every now and then, get really close to him sometimes may sitting or standing next to each other. Also let him know it’s ok to touch you if he wants to.
It’s very important to make sure he respects you. He must intuitively feel that if he fucks up with you, you will get dick from a guy that’s more mature.
Genuine laugh and good vibeing is important

I've learned that when a man doesn't pursue you, he's not interested.
Men naturally pursue. So if they don't, it's usually my cue to they're not really interested

Sometimes I’m just careful and moving slow, trying to get to know her a bit before I’d make a move. Burnt myself way too many times with messed up women.
[–]runaround_fruitcop 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, but at a certain point there's a no movement from him and if I feel more invested I feel like I'm being needy or the crazy person getting too attached. So I typically cut my losses and assume if there's not a certain level of interest from him then I stop and leave because I'm not going to get hurt again.
Investment should relatively be equal or else one person has more attachment and that can get messy if the other person does not share the same feelings
[–]runaround_fruitcop 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Also, men who move slow typically make that clear and can help assure the other person there is interest but a level of understanding that it can't move too fast for protection of feelings etc
[–]Illustrious-Cat7767 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, I get your point. I'm not hiding my intentions and I don't do this over texting for a month. I ask them out a few times. 2-3 dates are usually enough to have a general idea if I wanna move forward.
[–]xxchhfdd35325 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Stop generalizing me based off your anecdotal experience please
[–]ThemasterofZ 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
That's a bit of a generalization.
I'm terrified of pursuing the girl i like for example.
[–]runaround_fruitcop 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I mean, as a woman, unfortunately, we have come across many men we invest in and pursue who Ultimately were never invested or cared
So, being an outlier doesn't really apply to the majority of men. Many men, sure get nervous, but when they're already have had dates or whatever, if he initiates nothing or very little, he's not interested
Maybe when first approaching men don't always pursue but when dating has already started, if the other person very rarely initiates or etc then it's obvious they don't care as much as you do
[–]ThemasterofZ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I understand your pov. Yeah my comment is related to before the dating part. After two people are dating the whole dynamic changes.
[–]runaround_fruitcop 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly. If two people have already been on at least one date, if the other one, particularly the dude, doesn't show as much interest he's not into her. In my experience at least
[–]ContWord2346 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
And flirty for op could mean something else for her target.
Yeah, exactly
[–]stockmaniac 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You sure about that? Have you considered that sometime men are tired of pursuing. Lately if a girl has liked me I put in the bare minimum amount of effort and make her do most of the work, I lost a girl thag I liked that way but atleast I didn't come out emotionally drained from it.
[–]runaround_fruitcop 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, and maybe it should be equal efforts versus one person doing everything
You doing nothing and having her do everything is you just becoming what hurt you.
That's not fair for anyone

He is either thick or not interested. If you pursue him you have a great chance to just be used (no guy will pass on a free fuck). Find someone who would appreciate a smart proactive woman.

Funny because i had a similar experience, but the role we're reversed, the thing is i had a GF , maybe ask him if he's seeing somebody?

Well I’m gonna be real, you won’t stand out and leave an impression unless you look really good. Men are without a doubt visual creatures, if you look that good we’ll be thinking about you that much more.
Your physical appearance is what will make you stand out. Not money, not maturity, not even great personality. If you don’t have the looks your great personality won’t really mean much besides your a fun person to talk to/hang out with. All those things I mentioned would only be a plus IF you look good AND have all those things, in which case then you wouldn’t even have to make this post haha.
HOWEVER, if your cute (good looking enough) and have any of those things^ you will stand out more than you would if you were only just cute without any of those.

Maybe he has also some other potential candidates for love interest. Don't get engaged too soon, keep close proximity, if he can't make any decisive moves, you should lower your interest significantly.
