There’s a difference between preference versus writing off an entire ethnicity. Sadly the OP is the latter. My preference is Latina and my least is AA and Asian. Funny enough, two of my longest lasting relationships was with an Asian chick and a girl who was half black.
The point is while neither were my preference, I fell for the person. Not their race. I certainly never asked “how do I avoid black girls?”

Apples and oranges, friend. An obese person doesn’t have to remain obese. And you’re right anybody who writes off somebody based on their height or the amount of hair they have (or don’t) is shallow. But again apples and oranges. Because race is in a whole different ballpark.
Because in modern history, race is a unique factor and it has played and continues to play a huge role. And based on that race, societal and cultural treatments and norms have varied greatly. Based on your race alone, could determine if you were free or enslaved, equal or segregated, part of a normal life or sent to the concentration camp. And if you think 6000 years of human behavior has changed in the last 60, you’re a damn fucking fool.
So no a person’s race isn’t like their height or if they’re balding. It’s a lot more significant. Believing otherwise is ignoring human history both past and present.

In general guys on here have mentioned that Asian girls they've met seem less open or interested in meeting them. So the best approach for you would be to check out general dating advice (most of it is the same regardless of race) but also perhaps to be a bit more forward, since some men may be less likely to believe you're interested in them.

Listen man, I'm a white guy and date all kinds of chicks. Asian, black, latina and whoever else I end up with an attraction to. The part that attracts me to them is generally their height, build and smile. Everything outside of that attraction doesn't matter much. Why would she be racist if she has a preference for tall, blue eyed white guys? That would be like saying I'ma racist for dating a tall African American girl who is my height and has abs. It don't make no sense.

The best thing to do is to just get out there and talk to them, but I'd say get out there and do what you want to in terms of hobbies. People are very attracted to people in their element. If you love to dance, go clubbing and so on. Oh, and if you think you're too insecure to date, (social life, weight, etc) try to work on them, but dont be afraid to date while you do it.
While I'm a guy, it's been explained to me that dating for men is like looking for water in a desert. It can be hard to find an oasis anywhere! For women, it can be like trying to find water in a swamp. Water is all around you, but hardly any of it is fit to drink.
Don't be afraid to shop around a bit, and don't settle for crappy men. Of any race.
