And I've been thinking about it.

Yesterday I was about to have some drinks and dinner with a friend (girl) at a local bar. I arrived early, the bar was empty except for 4 guests (2 groups of 2 women), sitting in 2 different tables.

This was a bar I've never been in.

So when you're new to any place you'd better always walk it up: you'd go to the bathroom, approach to the bar, sit at a table and then you'd move to another one. It's like reconnaisance. You'd want to get used to the place, to make it yours, to feel comfortable in it. It also comes very handy when your friends/date arrive and ask you something like "Do you know where the bathroom is". By that point yes you do.

Another part of the reconnaisance is meeting the people there: chatting up a little bit with the bartneder, talking with the manager ("hey guys, I've never been here but you've got a very nice place!") and obviously, speak with your waiter/waitress (ask his/her name, ask for any drink suggestions: "what's your favourite drink and why").

So I did all that in the first 10 mins.

When I walked back to my table I automatically exchanged brief glances with the 4 women that were there. All of them would be looking at me before I looked at them.

I felt super checked out. I felt confident.

Then I thought, maybe they didn't checked me out because they were attracted to me, but I was the only person moving around, talking with the staff, and even doing handshakes and high fives with them.

Then I thought: "It doesn't matter if they were looking at me with attraction or just interest. With the confidence I just got now (and the social warm up after talking with the staff) I know I could talk with any of them and get a good reaction".

What I concluded is that you can also invite women to check you out in subtle ways. Specially in chill, quiet places.

Yeah all the time even when I feel like I dressed bad .. I wish they would all just come up to hit on me though so getting checked out really doesn’t help , I still gotta put effort to talk to them

Average men think that if a girl glanced in their direction, they are interested. Eye contact for 0.5s? She wants the D without question.

I see girls staring/glancing multiple times at men everywhere I go and it means nothing.
