Truly alpha, truly independent, truly secure, mature, stable, confident behavior would be to do whatever the fuck you feel like doing, and invite them to join you -- whether what you feel like doing is getting a coffee, or having a three-course dinner, or even just asking them to keep you company for an hours in the waiting room while your car is getting service.

The entirety of your formula is based on telling yourself it's better because it's not their chump-ass formula.... but it's still a formula, so you're all still chump-asses for having one at all.

I'm a girl and I gotta agree with the guy who said he just does what he wants to do. Anything else is still outcome dependent behaviour and letting others dictate how you date. I do enjoy a man trying to impress me, but there's a lot of ways to be impressive besides paying for dinner. That one is just easy.

Kind of a weird opinion because women aren’t comfortable with sex too soon and going out may be a fun way to ease that tension. I personally don’t go out on many dates, but maybe that’s why I’ve already invested so much in one woman. thats the best way to do it, girls dont realize if a guy with the pay for the date mentality wants to date multiple women, hes gonna lose 300-500$ or more.. whereas girls can at the same time shes milking you for free shit, date other people to for FREE. I never say its a date anymore i just say lets get some drinks, its not implied that im going to pay.

Yeah nah i don't think sharing a meal with a complete stranger is good first date idea. Walk around a bit and get some coffee is better imo, having something to do makes it less awkward.
