I do (used to when I had tinder) swipe right on everyone.
I never understood why all the matches I got were only during the first 2-3 days and after that my tinder would just go totally silent. Like it would be totally useless, totally redundant, so I would just delete it and work with what I got in those couple days.

It effectively gives you Tinder plus for the first few days, and then sends you down on the ELO score to make you want to pay for that hit you got on the first few days. It's pretty fucked.

I don't think that's it tbh. When I had tinder gold (only did it one or twice) the same thing occurred.
Insteqd of paying for premiums I would just delete and reinstall 10 days later and not do tinder plus or anything.

That's honestly a good strategy and the one I used haha. I also gotta recommend hinge. Slightly less volume but I got higher quality convos on that app.

I cucked and bought Tinder Platinum. I get 10-15 matches a day on a consistent basis. I'm colleged aged, and live in a tourist town. My pictures aren't professional either.

I’m a year out of college in a midsized city who decided to get platinum.
I have a feeling that tinder randomly selects people who pay for platinum to get the boost and the rest of us don’t get anything. This means people like you spread positive things about it to guys like me who tinder will never allow platinum to turn on for.

It's like a claw machine, they have software in them so they can be programmed to have only a certain percentage of wins out of the total games played. Dating apps are a racket, they're nothing but a huge scam exploiting and monetizing people's loneliness. I'm never paying for apps again

Midsized city doesn't cut it, I got platinum while on vacation in Budapest and got smothered with matches, I went back to my midsized city and I only get a handful a week

Yeah, my city has 250k people in the metes area, second largest in the state. I work in forestry so this is about as large of a city I can be in.

Not sure if this still works but used to a couple of years ago when I was last on tinder. Should be an option to hide your account /deactivate or something (not fully delete, just prevent you from swiping or being swiped) after a week turn it back on and you should to start seeing more matches again, as if you just made your account. Make sure to turn it off for a week straight don’t turn it on in that time.

Lots of ppl, say that, but then.... Anyway, one way is to use the location change feature to move to another country. The women there will give you more likes, and then you can move it back to where you live. Or you can just pay for the app and they will show you to a lot more ppl.

I mean using tinder passport. Its a feature that allows you to virtually move, but you do have to pay.

Note that the weird 2 day algorithm resets whenever you change your location with passport. I won’t get any likes in a few days, then I’ll immediately get 30 likes as soon a I change it to a different city. I haven’t played with the distance, but maybe if you keep it set to 5 miles away and change it to a different area if your city, it might reset.
Honestly, I just use tinder for passport when I’m going to travel somewhere. Tinder is 90% dead profiles now
