"It’s cool, I’ll see you around.” And never txt back.
[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Or just be upfront and say
“I was looking forward to a life with you!”

Text for logistics only
[–]RPslimjim 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Seems like a lot of effort and convincing. If she flakes she’s never hearing from me again unless she reaches out. But once she flakes and then comes back you need to inform her that flakes aren’t tolerated. You can either do this in text or in person, but once she’s flakes I’m inviting her over to my place, fuck a date, she must prove herself that she’s not going to waste my time planning a date from that point on.
[–]JacobMoogberg69 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Women flake and cancel last minute because they are raised to be people pleasers. So they hate to disappoint someone to their face. So when she enthusiastically agreed to your date, she was thinking, "okay I don't have to disappoint him by saying no, so when the day of the date comes, I will either flake or make up a silly excuse last minute and then disappear so I don't have to deal with his disappointment".
There is nothing to respond to. Let's face it, it's just your ego feeling embarrassed that is making you pretend you don't care and you are no fazed by it. It's like if you were on a hike and you sprained your ankle, you would probably tell your friends you are okay and you can continue although you are in excruciating pain, just to avoid the supposed embarrassment of admitting you fucked up. You would rather risk a much worse injury by continuing hiking as normal just to avoid feeling embarrassed. That's your ego at work.
Instead acknowledge that you were not as exciting and arousing to her in the first place and vow to either solve this mistake or more on with your life and find another girl who is actually interested in you.

Damn so she was just being nice when she was giving me back shots all the times we already hooked up :(
[–]JacobMoogberg69 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
??? Ugh? So you never bothered to mention that this was someone you were already sleeping with?
[–]froze_gold -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Well shit, Did I really need to? This question was for sake of calibrating I didn't need everyone digging too deep
[–]JacobMoogberg69 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No wonder she flaked on you.
[–]Global-Bridge-6787 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Well it does make a difference, bro. Idk how you to don’t get that. If she’s never met you and flaked that’s a different meaning than you met her, hooked up, and then she flaked.
[–]froze_gold -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
How's that? I know her at a sexual level, and that means Im now obligated to treat her differently in some way?
[–]Global-Bridge-6787 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You’re jumping to conclusions. I had no problem getting a woman I hooked up with to meet me again. Granted I’m not very good at one night stands but after the one I had, I waited a few days to ask her out again and she gladly obliged.
Maybe the hookup wasn’t as good for her as it was for you, Or like others have said, she has a lot of options and you were lower on the list.

That does sound passive aggro.
When it comes to actions, wouldn't a flag of a greener shade blow if she offers an alternative schedule? I think it sounds a bit desperate to ask for another day especially when we don't know what their cancelling for (i.e. another guy)

So, leave the text unopen, feel out for a shit test, and see if she rebounds. Gotcha
I joke, sort of. If this was dating_advice I'd probably be crying

The best answer is the one you can come with yourself. Imagine you are a busy man. You have a mission, you workout, you try to spend time with friends and family. You decided to sacrifice some of your precious time to meet a girl. She cancel, you get that time back, you can do your stuff in the end. How do you react?
Always react from a place of abundance. Personally, I wouldn't even read her second answer.
[–]RPslimjim 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Turn your read receipts on and let her know you read it but didn’t respond.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Don't do that. You should have better to do.
[–]RPslimjim 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
My read receipts are always on. Another advance tactic is to read the message within 15 minutes (normal convo) but text later that day.
If a girl sends a message during work hours I’ll read it but I won’t respond until I’m done working.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
So you have tricks, "advance" tactic, and she is living rent free in your mind while she get railed by Chad. None of your tricks can save you from being the loser in that situation. You need to rethink your life and put yourself in the center of it.
[–]kassra25 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly. It's always good to be busy in your own life and have as many options as possible.
[–]alikebabay 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Translated from feminise: I am sorry = I am sorry, someone better hit me up. But you are close third, fourth
I am sorry, can we do it another day (then suggests another day) = I am sorry, someone better hit me up. But you are close second.
So, no action is necessary. If you respond further, you agree for third, fourth or worse place in her rotation.
[–]froze_gold 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Damn, Im a third or fourth. I should've flexed my air fryer harder.
[–]surfershane25 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Or her and her best friend got in a huge fight or her roommate is causing drama or her parents might be splitting up and she has to deal with that but doesn’t want to tell you because she doesn’t know you well enough. It’s not always another guy. People have things come up in their lives that might make them look bad and they will be vague about. You’re and we are doing a lot of speculating without any way to actually confirm. You could always ask if everything’s alright and maybe get some context that shows it’s not someone else.
[–]JacobMoogberg69 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
No, it means she was never interested in the first place, unless she was feeling extra bored and lonely that night and could have used a free meal or drinks.
[–]Global-Bridge-6787 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is the best comment here. Never turned around a flake. If she’s interested, she’ll make time, not cancel last minute.
[–]willgo-waggins 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I actually just make clear that I am going on with my plans/life anyway and let her stew in the fact that I have other - and possibly better - options and am not at all dependent on her or her actions.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Cool.
That's all
[–]froze_gold 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Nice
[–]Visualize_ 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Dude who cares, why do you want to try to stick it to her and make it known you are "unfazed" by it because this just screams the opposite. Like your theoretical response sounds salty as fuck.
You could just leave her on read and wait for her to hit you up which slightly plays games because it leaves ambiguity if you were okay with it or not, or you can just say "no worries, let me know when your schedule frees up"
[–]Murky_Kaleidoscope35 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
She either did have legit reason to cancel, but if you make it seem like you don’t care without sounding arrogant you can simply say you can reschedule for a later time and change the topic. If she does it a second time that’s when you can call it quits because you know she’s really not interested but has a hard time setting boundaries and saying no.
[–]RPslimjim 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
My response is usually, “No biggie, take care of what you need to”. Usually the women I’m prospecting are following me on Snapchat/ IG. So I post what I was doing on there. Even better if I see a girl out and post pictures with her.
[–]Murky_Kaleidoscope35 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
In my experience, not posting makes them more curious about your whereabouts. Posting other girls will only make that girl think you’re playing games and the good ones will just walk away. The immature ones will want to play along so it just depends on what you’re looking for honestly.
[–]RPslimjim 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
I’ll explain it the way a plate explained it to me once. Here is the executive summary.
“If I’m seeing a guy and I flake last minute to do whatever and I see him taking another girl out, I’m upset because I know that could have been me”
If she flakes and you have nothing to show for it then it doesn’t matter. If she flakes she didn’t really respect you. Im always posting stories about what I do. So she’s used to seeing that.
And if you’re with girls more attractive than her, that’s a plus. If you start showing interest in her friends, that’s also a plus.
[–]Murky_Kaleidoscope35 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
The push/pull games never end well. If she flakes and is not honest about it consider it a W that she didn’t waste your time or money to begin with.
[–]RPslimjim 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I always leave the door open, because if she flakes, and then wants to come back, you are now automatically in the position of power.
As AMS says “She gon’ have to suck a whole lotta d*ck!”
[–]Murky_Kaleidoscope35 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
You’ll definitely be attracting the more immature younger girls with your mentality but I hope they at least have strong jaws!
[–]RPslimjim 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I have a hard cut off at 28 years old. I don’t seriously date women after age 28.
[–]Murky_Kaleidoscope35 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I agree, there must be a reason someone hasn’t claimed them by that age yet lol
Exactly. I’m of the opinion that women give plenty of shit tests. Some of it might not be on purpose but if you hold frame you’ll be able to find the girls who will come into your frame much easier.
