The answer is that you should have never let yourself get to this point in the first place. Whether a girl is average looking or a complete stunner, it doesn't matter - you treat her the same. Don't let a girl's looks change the way you interact with her or even just feel about her.

Unless a girl has slept with you at least 2 times, you should never let yourself start thinking about her as intensely as you do about this girl as it will only make things worse for you if they don't work out.

You should always be looking for other girls regardless, but aside from that point, it doesn't sound like you need to give up on this girl yet. She hasn't rejected or ghosted you yet so you still have a chance. Get her number/socials next time you see her and make your intentions known by asking her out. Until you get rejected/ghosted, you can still try to go for her.

Every bad experience in life is a learning experience. You only move on if you're rejected. If you ask her out and she says she is not interested, than you move on... but also you should keep your options open, you don't have a relationship with her, so no need to get exclusive or too attached.

This is the wrong mindset.

A girl is NEVER out of your league. You never know what she prefers, and maybe, you with all your self perceived faults, is what she wants. Or maybe you have other redeeming traits you don't see which she appreciates.

Don't think in terms of "league" at all. Think in terms of "is she hot, do I enjoy her company, is she interested in me". Nothing else.

Gushing too soon is to be avoided. But isn't always a death sentence just stick it out. Until she makes it clear she's no longer interested (either directly, or via friendzoning/ghosting). Assume she's interested.
