i've seen this stupid 'hey you wanna dance' as the first line mentioned here a lot. Its absolutely retarded. I'm not sure how a girl who gets any type of attention wouldn't start laughing at that.

If you wanna dance with a girl (i'm talking about nightclubs or other crowded events of the same nature) its probably 90% energy and 10% what you actually say. By energy i mean smiling, seeming like you yourself are having fun, interacting with others in the vicinity etc. What i've found works best is honestly just dancing towards the girl confidently, establish eye contact and begin dancing with here like she already said yes. If she's not interested she'll make it known, in which case you forget and move onto the next one. Maybe a few minutes in you can ask formalities like name etc but keep any talking in a playful flirty way at the start.

Asking a girl is too formal in a club or high energy setting. She already has her guard up, and is likely to say no unless you were to look like whatever her ideal man looks like.

What I’ve found so far in the few times I’ve gone clubbing is that girls will look at you if you’re having a good time. Sometimes they’ll even begin to join you (but also walk away)
