Girls like guys with muscle, even when they say they don't. But if you have no social skills it doesn't count for much.
It's more that they get super turned on when you're rough housing them in the bedroom if you're big and strong

"even when they say they don't." This. I've had girlfriends tell me NOT to workout while we were dating but it's a bunch of BS. I've been going to the gym 3-5 days a week for the past 6 months and the attention I've received from women has gone up tremendously. Honestly, it can be annoying AF because girls can be overly touchy feely.
[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Just be touchy feely in return, that's what I do. Or tell them, "don't touch me anywhere you wouldn't want me to touch you." If she grabs your arm then grab hers at the same time.
[–]HNTI 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn't complain.
[–]dvg1679 6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I'm a pretty muscular guy myself, and a lot of times the women who are touchy feely are the ones you can't hook up with. Usually it's the outgoing, sloppy drunk one, the ugly fat one, or the total skank that everyone in the group would judge you way too much for going for it.
[–]HNTI 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
So basically the girls being touchy with you are way below your standards, right ? At least you have some points trying to attract 8+. I'm also attending gym, bit it will be way longer road for me to have some muscles to show up as I have quite some body fat. TO give you some idea I went down from 104 kg to 90 atm and still losing with 186 cm height. At least stomach is somewhat flat - that's something.
[–]dvg1679 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yes either complete whales, like 220+ lbs or some drunk girl who was doing the same to 6 other dudes that night and tripping over herself.
And good work on the gymming. Keep it up. I've found in my experience a lot of weight lifting and a diet low in carbs is a simple guideline.
[–]HNTI 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
From my observations till 94 kg pure diet + cardo did the thing, but in order to crack 94 kg and lower I had to hit the gym. I try to stick to lots of proteins (mostly of cottage cheese and boiled eggs) + fruits/vegetables. I slowly start thinking about some shakes to it, but atm I worry more about my back as sedentary lifestyle takes tool on your lower back and no deadlifts/barebell rows for me.

Being muscular is icing on the game cake. Without the cake it's just icing, and who wants to eat just icing....
I need to rethink this metaphor.

Looks are important for men but not nearly as important as confidence. You see men aren't attractive by nature, our masculine qualities are what attracts women to men... ie. Confidence, swagger, how he carries himself, height, muscles, charm, sense of humor.
1 on the list is confidence, looks and muscle get you no where if you don't have confidence. Now with that said... Muscles and or getting into better shape not only make you look better but they make you feel better, ie. Gain more confidence.
So sure getting into shape is great to do, but it's only 1 of a set of other qualities that will help you get women.
Im a prime example, I was always attractive, but I used to be a total loser with girls because I had zero confidence, or I projected zero anyway. Once I gained confidence, I crushed it, it was so much easier for me once I projected confidence

I'm in the same boat. It's especially annoying when your friends tell you "you're good looking, why don't you have a girlfriend?"
[–]Murfdigidy 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Don't worry I used to be in the same boat, girls telling me all the time I was really good looking only to end up alone.
You gain confidence by not giving a fuck what other people think of you. This is really hard to do when guys like me are pretty sensitive, meaning I'm very in tune with peoples feelings and I'm emotional by nature. With that said if you call me a pussy for being that way, I don't give a fuck, that's nice your girlfriend wants me btw. That's the attitude you need to have. Believe in yourself because no one else will. Will people hate you for it, sure, haters always hate. But you'll attract far more than you repel by acting this way.
People in general attract to positive confident people. It's just a fact and there's no reason you can't do it. The only thing holding you back is your mind. Recognize that when you approach a cute girl what your mind says. It says, don't fuck up, don't be lame, fear fear fear. It's trying to protect your fragile ego from rejection... But here's the kicker, rejection makes you STRONGER. We learn so much by putting ourselves out there, Yea you're vulnerable but that's the point. Nothing good ever came easy because you wouldn't learn to be the best possible person if you didn't.
There will be People along the way that hate on you, fuck'm. There will be people along the way that make fun of you, fuck'm. We spend our whole lives worrying about what other people think of us, only to come to the realization that no one really gives a fuck. It's just a fact, you think the hater truly cares about you or your intentions, no they are just haters, insert anyone else they don't see eye to eye with and guess what those haters are hating on them. it's just what haters do, it's not personal.
Perfect example I was at a wedding I attended this weekend, I must of went up to 3 or 4 couples I didn't know to make a joke and start a conversation, 3 out of the four reacted like I had 3 eyes. You think I gave one shit they didn't like my joke, no. Those people are just too insecure to put themselves out there and start a conversation. That's all I was trying to do, if their too insecure or antisocial to have a friendly banter back, oh well I'll never see you again, your loss not mine.
THAT MY FRIEND IS CONFIDENCE, don't be afraid to talk to any stranger especially girls, they're alot friendlier than you think. When your mind says no, recognize it, and say YES

Sure, easier said...

Confidence comes from knowing, deep in your core, that you can handle whatever happens.
Build it by accomplishing things. Let your inner voice really understand that you're a capable human being.
Get a hobby that's outside of your usual comfort zone and get better at it every day.

Ok, I'll explain it all,
Her is what they mean by looks don't matter: they aren't the determinant of success. Game is. You can be realy good looking but if you have bad game you will get nothing or next to nothing.
You can be bad looking and have awesome game and get good success.
The better looking you are the less tight you game needs to be. If you are good looking and fit you can do fine for yourself with ok game. But you won't be swimming in women.
Looks just make it easer.
Personally, it exercise helps indirectly because it makes me feel better and think clearer
For traveling, looks play a role, being white makes it a lot easer in Latin America, I heard being black makes it really easy in Sweden. And being dark makes it easier.
Tldr you probably won't pull girls with your body, But it should make things easier.
[–]f1v3star 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
TLDR - I need to go to Sweden
[–]Timanon1 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It 100% makes a difference. It might not be the most important but it is important. It shows at the very least you are not a total loser. You are someone who cares about his health and being fit, someone with energy.
[–]tyler818 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
The same as if a girl had a nice body
It's not everything, but it definitely helps the initial attraction.
Tall. Muscular. Handsome. = game on easy mode
With such traits, it's you who can be picky.

Same here, I'm 177 cm for 55kg. It really depends on your confidence
[–]joebrowns 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It helps tons. Makes you more confident, more playful (because you're confident), gets you the first step in a set. Girls like a guy who worksout. It shows you're dedicated, because staying fit isn't easy. It keeps your body healthy, changes your mentality (everytime you hit the gym you want to become better than who you were yesterday), helps you stay younger longer.
I'm not saying everyone needs to workout, but if you do, there are a lot of benefits.
Don't skip leg days and go to the gym no matter what, even if you're not feeling like it.
[–]SexySmexxy 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes.
Most girls and I really mean like 95% love a guy with a great body.
Not to say that he needs a great body BUT if will make your sex life way way way easier.
Most girls always think about being fucked by a guy with a great bod.

Muscles can work and it does help alot. But you still need to talk to women this is the important part. Women are not only attracted to looks so you need social skills too.
[–]NapalmOverdos3 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It'll really help you. I've had more confidence since I've been working out and girls like that. My confidence has pushed my farther than my physical appearance has but girls like to have something nice to look at.
[–]AndyBebop 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Everyone is attracted to a well physical appearance, however, your "inner game" will ruin you if you don't have any social skills.

I was just about to say...I read and it and was like "200 lbs 6%? No way." had me looking up past winners of Mr America haha
[–]symko -2 points-1 points0 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not much. Women don't view men with the visual lens. They look through the emotional lens. That's why you see fat guys with cute chicks sometimes.
What muscles will develop is your discipline. When you exercise you show that you will keep your word, you will follow through and continue to motivate yourself for better things. You will be more confident because you're always challenging yourself to do more.
