Context: I’m a lad that usually never leaves his room. Always reading, studying and writing, with ocasional trips to the library. I’ve gone out at night a few times but never to clubs and picking up birds.

I did cold approach two women last month and although I didn’t get their numbers (didn’t want to ask because they were 18/19, I’m 25), they were positive interactions. Got told by another woman that I’m good looking. Anyway I decided to try again and go all the way, no big expectations. The first woman I approached was a flop, I actually fumbled a few words but she wasn’t keen anyway. Walked away a little embarrassed but got over it a few seconds later. Approached a second woman, said the same thing and she gave me the death stare, before calmly going back inside to her workplace (a restaurant) and swearing about something completely unrelated. Disastrous but I didn’t let that get me down

The third woman I approached, I said she was beautiful, introduced myself, asked if she wanted to go out (rookie mistake I know). Said she wasn’t too interested, I said that is alright, no stress. But she still gave me her number. I’d say was somewhat smiling and giggled a little bit. Keep in mind I didn’t change my posture all that much between the 3 women, the confidence was there.

I got her number. I really don’t care if it goes nowhere, if she just ghosts me on WhatsApp or not, but it was thrilling to apply cold approach in person and actually working. I still have to work on it though. I am worried if cold approaching could land me in trouble. I hope not. But lads, shoot your shot. It’s not that bad. If you have any extra advice, I accept it. Criticism too.
