Firstly some information about me. I (30m) am an introverted person who was in a relationship for a long time and apart from this relationship, I have not had any other experience with other women. I have also a well paid job and no problem with money.

Anyway, since the end of my relationship (2 months ago), I am looking for a new partner. I also have almost no social life and no friends. Two weeks ago I decided to be a little braver and during this time I asked 3 ladies to have a drink together. Actually asking random women was really difficult, but I've somehow managed to do it.

One gìrl refused and said that she did not want to, and the other two accepted. Well, the first lady, who accepted, was older than I thought, 45 years old, but I didn't bother with the date because she was pretty and kind and because I thought why not, it's better than spending the night lonely. We drank a coffee together in a café and talked for about two hours and exchanged numbers, I sent her a message after that and thanked for the night and she told it was an amazing date. But I did not continue because of the big age difference.

The second lady was a very beautiful who was 35 years old, but the date went very badly. Almost in the middle of the date, we didn't have anything to say, and we thanked each other very respectfully and finished the date, and we didn't exchange contact information. I found these people in various public places like the library near my house and a mall. I don't like online dating because I think the success rate is lower.

I don't know if I'm doing it right. What do you think? Should I continue it like this or do I need to change something.
