Hey guys. I've read a lot of PU materials. I actually had an info-hoarding addiction for a while, and PU info was one of my favorites to hoard.

I'm a naturally super-extroverted guy. I always found it really easy to talk to girls. On the other hand, I had a hell of a time escalating and asking them out. So I'd end up having a bunch of girls into me, but not make a move on any of them.

When I first encountered PU info... it fucked me up. I started to feel like meeting women was SO COMPLICATED, to the point that I actually got worse. I started second-guessing everything I had done that already worked! All the jargon, stuff like openers, DHV, negs, etc. made me feel inadequate.

I actually didn't recover from that until recently, when, thank god, I encountered some guys who were saying "pickup doesn't need to be complicated."

I want to say this to you now: a lot of the advice I see given here makes pickup seem really complicated. It isn't!

Here's what you DON'T need to worry about:

  • Openers. Just say hello.
  • Going to bars/clubs. Many of the women you'd actually want to date long-term don't go there anyway except for their friends' birthdays.
  • Negging/DHV's. Just have fun. If a girl's bitchy, maybe she's just a bitch?
  • Having the "right" line. Just focus on having fun and flowing. Conversation ain't chess.
  • Fancy tactics of any kind. Just go for what you want, honest and direct. "Hey, I'd like to see you again. How about your phone number?"

Here's a short list of what works for me:

  • Meeting women doing things I enjoy anyway.
  • Talking to people everywhere and being friendly.
  • Being really open and honest.
  • Working on my appearance and life passion.
  • Escalating when appropriate. This takes courage.

That's all you need.

When you see a piece of dating advice being given, I want you to ask yourself this question: "Does this advice make dating seem easy? Or more complicated?"

If it seems more complicated, IGNORE THE FUCKING ADVICE. Especially if you're new to this stuff! The last thing you need is to feel like dating is confusing. Instead, focus on the things you've already done that brought you good results. Then do more of them.
