Ive gotten so used to short term, “for fun” relationships. Things like push and pull, endlessly flirting, not showing too much interest and all around shallow conversations have helped me have sex without commitment. Recently I met a girl who I actually liked and wanted a future with. I thought I could use the same tactics on her but it didn’t work. She sensed the bs and left me.

Clearly, the same strategy that works for one nights stands doesn’t work for serious relationships. That’s when I realized that I find much more happiness and meaning in real relationships. I also realized that I have no idea how to even go about real relationships. How can I be more prepared for a future opportunity?
