Hi, my name is Christian. Despite being relatively good looking, bright, etc., I've never had much success with women. Probably because I've stayed away from them most of the time. Lately though, I've had more and more success, and I've actually started to enjoy approaching women. I've stopped being too focused on results and feel better about myself than ever before. I'm currently out travelling in europe with a bunch of friends, although I only know a couple of them well. A few nights ago we stayed at a hostel, and I was sitting alone in the bar there reading a book when this cute, beautiful girl walks in and sits down in a couch with another girl. After about a minute I walk over to them, say hi and sit down next to the cute girl, then introduce myself to them both. I was totally calm and comfortable. (a few months ago I would have been sweating and stuttering.)

I talk to them for a while, which is easy when travelling around europe like this because you can talk about where you've been so far, where you're going next and so forth. She was maybe an 8 or 9, and very nice to talk to. I attempted to present my opinion about things we were talking about as much as possible, to convey personality. (Does this work?) I avoided strong emotional responses, however. Her friend was not that nice or easy to talk to, but I tried to include her in the conversation nonetheless. I also tried to talk about sex (such as the red light district in Amsterdam) in an attempt to make her associate me with sex. I maintain a relaxed atmosphere and hold eye contact with here during silent breaks, which makes here smile.

Suddently two friends I made the day before came over and I introduce them all to each other. The bar is beginning to fill up and one of my travel companions ("TC") comes over and sits down. I introduce him to the other four. I never really liked this guy. He's kinda creepy, he's negative all the time and sort an asshole, really. Despite this I'll attempt to make the rest of this report as unbiased as possible. I tell the girls that we were planning to go out to a club later and ask them if they want to join. They talk for a few seconds and HB tells me that they're in. For the next hour I try to leave the table once in a while to talk to other people etc., but I mostly stay in the coach next to the hot girl. (any ideas on this - how much attention is too much?) TC talks to her quite a bit too. From what I hear his game is not very good. I ask her if she has a boyfriend back home and she says no and smiles. I do the kino escalation ladder, but I don't kiss her yet. (mistake?)

We finally all go out. In the club she shows interest to us both, but I get the feeling that she's more into me. (she came over to sit on my lap several times) I probably should have asked her to come with me somewhere (isolate), but TC was following her closely and might have followed after us.

After a while the other girl gets thrown out and the four of us end up in a cab back to the hostel. I hold her hand most of the ride and finally kiss her. TC was sitting on the other side of her and was being aggressive on the keno too. I realize that he's not gonna give up and that this probably won't end well for me.

We all go up to their room and get the other girl in bed. After a little while I start making out with HB. (standing.) At this point I was hoping TC would leave. Instead he gets in the middle and starts making out with her too, and begins to pull off her clothes. He says "I think she wants a threesome" to me and I replied that I wasn't up for that. He was probably right though. She was pulling us both in at this point. TC has removed all her clothes by now, and I make out and touch her a bit before I realize that this is not something I want to be a part of. I decide to leave and TC starts having sex with her as I get my jacket and go back to our room. I never saw her again and decided not to confront TC about what happened.

I was naturally disappointed by how this turned out, but I'd like to learn as much as possible from the experience. How should I have handled this situation?
