So it was a Saturday night in College, as the writer of a blog on college pickup can you guess where I was at 10pm?

If you guessed "in his bed only in boxers watching dexter" you would be correct. A buddy of mine calls me up and says "BRO we're throwing down on the floor below you, come down and party". Because it requires minimum effort I pull on some pants, throw on a shirt and without thinking put my key's lanyard around my neck.

So I go down there, I'm not particularly in state (I rely heavily on state based game). I grab a beer sit on the couch and start playing madden with my buddy while the music is blaring and tons of HB's are surrounding me.

I finish my beer after getting crushed in madden, get up to grab another beer when a HB9 looks at me and giggles. I hold eye contact (always hold if she's looking) and she approaches me. She grabs my lanyard kind of pulls me forward slightly with it and says "what kind of nerd wears his lanyard to the party, you look like a mom with your cvs extracare card hanging around your neck" (Now this is an obvious shit test).

I responded "Well I need the extra savings when I spend so much money on condom's over there". I deflected and deflated the shit test and established a sexual frame from the get go.

I knew this girl was attracted to me (i'm not entirely sure why) but because she was hot I knew it was going to take some effort on my part. I saw her flirting with lots of guys around the party and realized that she increased her self confidence by flirting with men and then leaving them when they telegraphed too much interest.

To counteract this I used a routine I've been field testing with the hottest girls I encounter at parties:

Me: So you're that girl huh? HB: what girl?

Me: You know the girl that shows up for free alcohol but doesn't ad *that much to the party

HB: playfully punches me on the arm How do you know? I'm the funnest girl here

Me: Prove it, to me you don't look particularly interesting. Name three interesting things about yourself, if they're good enough I'll stay and talk to you

HB: Ohhh you think you can use pick up lines like that on me and I'll sleep with you?

Me: Well it's worked on the last 100 girls I've slept with so why not a regular girl like you?

From there we were off but I have to tell you this is one of the more challenging sets I've ever encountered. At every single turn this girl was shit testing the hell out of me. When I named my three interesting things, she told me that I was boring (first time that's happened) I just shrugged and told her she didn't understand because she was boring and unadventurous.

She of course feigned offense and playfully slapped me on the cheek, at this point I was trying to continue escalating so I said "The next part of you that'll touch my face is your lips" (NOT THE BEST LINE, don't use this because honestly it was shitty and probably shouldn't have worked).

She kind of giggled and told me she wasn't that easy, and withdrew slightly. Even though I had isolated her to a corner long ago in the conversation I felt as if she didn't want to be judged making out in a corner somewhere so I grabbed her hand and told her we were going on an adventure (This seriously works 70% of the time, especially if you have negged the girl earlier for not being adventurous).

She complied by walking out of the party with me, I said before we head out I needed to grab a coat from my room (it wasn't cold outside, I just wanted to get her back to my room and give her plausible deniability).

She came up and I showed her around my room, I grabbed her real close until we were face to face and asked "would like to kiss me before we head out" (This way she didn't think I was going to try and fuck her right then and there). She did that thing most girls do where she kind nodded but didn't say anything and we started making out. Let's just say we never actually went outside

Interpretations:

  1. This has made me reevaluate peacock theory in college, something I normally recommend against to my readers. However this girl used the lanyard as an excuse to open me, so I think in the future I'll wear something subtly out of the ordinary and hope for the situation to repeat itself.

  2. Just because a girl opens you does not mean she's going to fuck you, as you saw from this set I had to pass alot of shit tests and it took me about an hour of game before I could get her back to my room

  3. With hotter girls they will shit test the fuck out of you, AGREE AND AMPLIFY then change the subject.

TL;DR: Wore lanyard, got approached, got shit tests, passed shit tests, got laid
