Walking to work is normally a dull affair. It was early, I was drinking coffee and in this city people just put their heads down with earphones in and wallow in their own misery.

So there I am, one of many waiting at the crosswalk waiting for the green light when I see one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever seen in my life, a true HB10. She was a long haired blonde, wearing this tightly fitting peacoat, knee high black boots, leggings that showed off her stuff, you get the idea....

She's not wearing headphones and I know I HAVE to talk to this girl because otherwise I'd think about her all day. So I said fuck it, I'll just tell her that.

There are nearly 20 people around me at this crosswalk and I walk up to her and smile, not some shitty smile, I'm talking about one of those genuine squinty, toothy smiles and say "I had to come talk to you because otherwise I wouldn't be able to get the cute girl from the crosswalk out of my head all day, what's your name?".

Everyone around me kind of laughs, the girl is obviously taken aback, it's 7:30 am. She looks down sheepishly tells me her name (Ashley) and I say "it's nice to meet you ashley, tell me about yourself" she launches into what she does for work, and asks what I do. I avoid the question because this girl is obviously 6 years older than me (I'm 20) and launch into a story about how i'm a secret agent.

She laughs and keeps giving me that smile, I'm near my office now so I fake a phone call and pretend like it's serious and say "I'm on it boss, target will be neutralized". Then because I had my phone out, I handed her my phone and told her I would call her after I was done saving the world.

Again she giggled and put her number in my phone, once she finds out I'm a 20 yr old broke ass college student she probably won't be as keen on me, but I'm damn proud of this # close

Lesson for beginners: The world is your field, never restrict your game to night game or day game, if you see a hot girl anywhere approach and try.

tl;dr: It was early, approached hot chick, made secret agent pun, got hot chicks number.
