Seddit, I feel like I have failed you...

You know you how can read all the material, give out advice and everything, but sometimes you just blank when a good opportunity comes? Yeah that happened.

So I'm windsurfing down at lake Calhoun, and I decide to pack it up and call it a day. Now windsurfing is a pretty good DHV to chicks, and it does a lot of the work for you. I always say there are two types of people at lake Calhoun, people who are windsurfers, and people who want to be windsurfers, but I digress.

I'm attempting to roll up my sail, but it's gusting to about 20 mph and I am having some difficulty. THis HB9.5 rollerblades up and stops and watches me. I look up at her and smile and she comes over.

She smiles and says "What are you trying to do?"

"Roll up my sail but it's not really working haha"

"Do you need some help? What can I do?"

(You only need one person to do this) but I say,

"Yeah stand right there and catch me if I blow away."

"Haha you from around here?"

I panic. This girl is super cute, but I can tell she is like 23 and i'm 19, so I don't know exactly how to play this.

"Yeah I'm from out west of here. You?"

"Oh me too! Where out west?"

"Oh I from western suburb 10 min away"

"Oh... haha I'm from Wyoming. I went to school there."

"Oh really out in Laramie?"

"YEAH! How did you know that?"

"Oh I was in a play that was based in Laramie."

"Oh thats cool!"

"So do you like fruitbooting?" Referring to her rollerblades

"Hahaha I've never heard it called that."

"Well you know the hardest part about rollerblading?"

"What?"

"Telling your parents your gay."

Tried to start a little windsurf v. rollerblade rival, but she didn't know how to take it.

More banter I can't remember.

Her: "So you live out in the burbs?"

Me: "Yeah, where you from?"

Her: "Oh, I'm from right around here."

Her: "I've always wanted to learn how to windsurf."

Me: "I would show you today, but I'm already packing up."

Her: "Oh ok."

NOW THIS IS WHERE I FUCK UP.

Me: "All these guys here give lessons."

Wow. Am I dumb? ThrowawayPUA would have punched me in the face. The other guys on the beach are like 50 years old. The next oldest windsurfer is 35, and I just said she should go get lessons from them.

"OH ok. Well I guess I'll go now."

"Ok yeah have a nice.. nice... nice day" Epic stutter goodbye

"Yeah you too."

Then she rollerbladed her perfect body off into the sunset.

Now I figure since she lives around the lake I windsurf on she will be out there again. I wen back the next couple days, but didn't see her. I figure one of the unspoken rules of these things are going back to the same place the same time next week. So I'll do that.

Next time I see her I'm just gonna offer her lessons and get her number immediately.

You guys think I should mention last time we met or should I just try and forget that embarrassment.
