I'm at a bar with my wing. He's opening sets left and right, but I'm not really comfortable yet (need to get some more beer in me). I go up to the bar to get a drink, and see this hot girl right next to me. I offer her a drink and she politely declines. I get my drink, down it, then go over to my friend (who's in the middle of a set). He seems to be making headway with his "target," so I kinda just stand off to the side and wait for a lull in the interaction. One of her friends asks me something, but I wasn't paying much attention and just brushed it off. My wing eventually left his target and got her number.

So then we scope out the bar for a bit, and I see a big group on the dancefloor, so we head over. I was kinda shellshocked when I reached the floor, so we just kinda moved to the music a bit on our own. Eventually these 2 girls came up to us and were grinding in our general direction. I latched on to the one closest to me but I wasn't really comfortable with the whole situation. We danced for one song and then she left.

At closing time, I happened to find a drunk girl who seemed to be looking for a good time. So I went up to her, chatted a bit, and then we started making out. She left right after that. I went home alone.

So what went wrong there? In this situation, I can point out about 30-50 different things I could've done differently. See how many "bad" things you can find and list em in your comment. Give an explanation for each.

Just to be clear, none of this actually happened. It was meant as a thought experiment for you guys to point out all the things that went "wrong."
