When I was in high school, I had a coach that use to make fun of people every day. Many people didn't like him. He would say practice doesn't make perfect. People think if you practice you will improve, but that isn't always the case. It is totally possible to do something wrong a hundred times and not know why it fails.

Sure, you can learn tons of stuff from those but taking action beats them all.

Not every book is there to teach. Some are there to explain the mistakes and help people do things right.

This logic cannot be applied to everything. Some people just don't know. Its not like women pull guys to the side and say, this is what you did wrong.

The more approaches you make, the better you will become.

How does one actually know? If you follow the pickup advice you read and you approach a girl and apply it and she is not remotely interested, how do you know what you done wrong?

As someone else said, it's not as if she'll pull you to the side and explain it to you. It could literally be a million things. If you're first approach goes brilliantly, but your second approach goes really bad, yet you use the same 'approach', what do we learn?

Just a question. Not gonna say I went often enough but when I do go to a club or bar, people come in groups and I don't want to approach the entire group just the person of interest. Having to approach groups compared to an individual is a little discouraging to act upon. Am I going to the wrong type of places? Or that's normal and I gotta suck it up?

PUA/pick up is a blue pilled coping mechanism. Do you really want to spend hours upon hours learning "muh text game" and "muh physical escalation" to get a sliver of what comes naturally to chad? Ya you might get laid on 2/5000 approaches to obese land whales, but was it worth the mental anguish? Chad has 8/10s approaching him regularly.
