Bruh. If she is your flatmate and you share kitchen, bath etc. together than this is a really bad idea. Imagine it will not be how you hope, meaning just a casual fling, than shit is gonna get awkward. Your flat is there to be a safe space where you can distance yourself from this kind of stuff and not a place where you dread who you come across in the hallway. From my experience, having a FWB never ends particularly „good“. Worst case scenario is someone catches feelings the other can’t reciprocate. Best case scenario is you are both not that into each other, spend less time and whenever you see each other you cringe a bit.

I guess if things would turn really nasty, you can change your place, right? But why would you expect the darkest scenario? Even if it won't work out, can you keep it cool like a responsible adult for the time being? Emotional hangover is definitely not something pleasurable or brief, but it is also kinda inevitable and natural thing of human relations and life overall.

lol yeah, you can tell yourself it will be okay as long as you’re honest about the intentions. But there’s no way to tell, hell you could be the one that will get attached to her. Imagine one day you see her with another guy and you get mad. Those are feelings you have for her now. Point is, even if you’re honest it may not work out the way you want. But I’d enjoy the fun. Once in a while opportunity and hell if she develops feelings why not. You’re obviously into each other.

Like what one of the user said. You're both sharing a space and living together so turning this into a FWB may not work out. Girls usually get super attach to a guy after having sex and some even go to the extreme of obsession and do insane things because they having feelings for the man she had sex with.

Just treat it as a casual date at this point and see where it goes from there you might not know there's potential.

There's zero shame in turning your FWB into something more. This is more common than you think I seen some couples I know went with that route and they're happily dating for years till now due to their bedroom chemistry which is as equally important as finding out their partner other qualities so this is like a non tradition way to date which works out for some people may not be for everyone some even hates the idea of FWB first and become married couples later down the line because they don't bother to understand that point of view.

Just go with your instinct and see what potential this one brings or just be open about it, Time wait for no one so make your decision quick either leave it ignore it or sit down and have a talk with her.

Last thing you want is a random what if scenario day dream later down the line in the future and the taste of regret stings like a bitch sometime

Make sure it's not every single day/ night, and communicate your boundaries clearly! If you run into any issues, address them immediately and together.

My rule of thumb is if you can both be out with friends or at a party and it doesn't look like you're together, you're doing fwb right. Otherwise, you might have something more, which in my opinion is even better!

This situation can go either way honestly, It all depends on how you show up in every interaction with her. If you get upset and express that verbally or through body language, you're fucked. She's going to mirror whatever you give her, particularly at such a young age.

Your first step is figuring out if you want a full-time commitment from her or not, and you'll have to watch her actions to see if she's ready for that. At 18, I highly doubt it. If you do and she doesn't, she's going to pick up on that, knows she has the power, and you bet she's going to use it to her advantage. If you don't but she does, she's going to look at every angle to get commitment from you, and she probably won't stop until she does. Both scenarios are going to be games you'll have to know how to navigate like an expert chess player, or else you're going to get played. Girls play the sexual attachment game 1000% better than we ever can.

Best bet is to start watching the Austin Powers movies. Pay attention to how he navigates relations with women. It's effortless, because he's simply embodying his sexuality and there's no importance placed on any sexual escapades he has (At least until he meets Vanessa/Felicity/Foxy). The women instinctively know this, and are there for the ride because he sets the frame. When they get too clingy, he disarms them with charm, just enough to get away.

If you're not looking for a GF, I'd play the game as best as you can while looking for a new spot to move to as a backup if I were you.
