Does cold approach ever get easier? I approached a cute woman I see walking her dogs around my neighborhood, and introducing myself. I asked her a few questions, and she answered, but I noticed she didn't ask me anything. I'm not sure why, but I just went for broke at that point and said I should get going and asked her if she'd be into having coffee together. She just said "no sorry" and I said "have a nice day" and walked away. I made sure to give her lots of space during the interaction and be polite when rejected. Was this normal for cold approach, or should I have talked to her several times before asking her out? Is it better to just bail out if they say they have no hobbies or don't ask you anything? I've only ever gotten one number from cold approach and they flaked out when it came to setting up a date. Most of my interactions are super awkward like this. I'm probably making some really newbie mistakes, but any advice or pointers would be welcome.
