No one is great at everything, if you aren't a social butterfly then you need to be that much better in other ways. If the social butterfly aspect is what she's looking for, then you guys aren't meant to be anyway.

I think that everybody needs to figure out the situations that work for them. I'm introverted just like you. I prefer venues where I can have a conversation (like a lounge) vs a club type environment. I also prefer 1:1 vs group. And I do better with classy, educated chicks than I do with club rats. A lot of my friends feel most comfortable in the exact opposite type of environment.

Honestly when I'm in those situations I take mental notes. What are they doing that I could learn from? Don't change who you are to be more like them, but there are ways to improve your approach to incorporate influences from other styles.

In other words, be that superior guy that women want. Your girl is definitely attracted to your friends to a degree. Should you feel worried or jealous? Absolutely not! Even if she leaves you, that's a blessing in disguise for you.

Don't be the centre of attention if you feel that it drains you too much
Like someone else said, be the king of the conversation. You won't entertain everyone but you will steer the conversation to your liking
Be positive and fun. People literally gravitate towards fun people. If you're negative or quiet all the time, people will think you're not fun and therefore will want to avoid you
If your friends are dominating the conversation or you're being out AMOG'd, be the alpha male of the group's cheerleader. Don't misinterpret that and be their bitch. Any time they tell a story, be engaged and ask questions.
The alpha male of the group (AMOG) will like you more because you're appreciative of him and the girls will see that you're not feeling threatened
You can pull away and isolate your girl for some one on one time if needed any time you want

I would highly recommend it; Yes
You become more successful and positive when you hang out with successful and positive people. You are the average of your 5 closest friends.
You will pick up on their tendencies, behaviours, habits etc. that help make them successful both in women and life
The fact that you're insecure about losing her tells me you're stressing over this whereas your friends are not, meaning they have one less problem than you

Having stories is definitely not a bad thing, and it will definitely help in seducing women, but it won't help much with long term succees with women. Long term success with women is based more on your mental and emotional strength than it is social. I had a friend who is the most charismatic person I've ever met in my entire life, but when he dates women he is so needy and approval seeking that he mever makes it past 1 or 2 dates.

Being charismatic is a good skill to have, and you should definitely practice developing some charisma, but don't waste your time trying to go from introvert to Mr. Charisma. Focus on your strengths and what makes you a fun and unique person. Nobody is perfect and I guarantee those guys have thier own moments of wanting to be good at something like someone else. You just need to learn to be content with not being the best at everything and just being great at the few things you're great at.

Girls will pursue what they find fun. If your friends provide that much excitement for her and you've never seen her enjoy herself with you like that, odds are you aren't her type and it's not going to last much longer.

That's okay though - you can use this to either change how you act, in order to be more in line with what her and other girls consider fun. Or you can use this to search for a girl that would have more fun with you than with the types of guys that your friends are.

Of those two options though I recommend trying to change yourself for the better than to find a girl that's totally into introverts and hate extroverts (because they're extremely rare)

there aren't different styles of seduction; women are all seduced the same way. being funny is a good way to build comfort, but without the other elements of seduction all that's happening between your girl and your friend is that she's becoming endeared towards him in a friendly way. and he's your friend so you should want them to get along. the fact you have cool friends that are entertaining increases her perception of you as well.

if making girls laugh was the key to getting laid every single person reading this thread wouldn't know at least 5 hilarious guys that are barely not virgins.
