I posted on a different subreddit and in there stated that I wanna improve my self confidence and game and am following /r/seduction to do so, another user posted the following: 

don't "seduce" a girl for your first time... it's not a game, these are regular people who happen to have  different genitals. Any girl worth talking to can smell "seduction" from a mile away. It makes them acutely  aware of what you're after, and what that does is completely eliminate every aspect of your appeal in their eyes except for your physical sexual appeal. Girls aren't nearly as visual as guys are, if you limit yourself like that you're shortchanging yourself.  Instead of learning pick-up lines, learn to communicate with the other gender and have relaxed fun  in mixed social groups. Sex shouldn't be the goal, and as soon as you stop (I'm sorry in advance,  but I have to) "putting the pussy on a pedestal" you're going to have a much easier time attracting women.

I don't think that that is what this subreddit does, and I want to confirm, that this subreddit helps people increase their self confidence by becoming a better part of themselves, and become more alpha, and gives tips on how to approach women and make women want you.

Just wanted to throw this out here, let me know if you agree or disagree, or if I'm just plain wrong.
